Music is Love: [11/14] Period 7

Lorne is sitting back in his usual spot as the students enter the room.

"Afternoon Kittens! I hope you remembered your assignment this week! Now why don't you head to the stage and show us what you got."

[OCD is coming up]

Zuko's song is named 'The sound of silence'. It's pretty short and the lyrics are really easy to remember as there are none.

Parker's finally really regretting this class.

I can't sing a note
I just want to scream
Scarily scarily scarily
Life's not what it seems

Want to leave the stage
Run until I drop
Warily warily warily warily
Look for lollipops

That's as deep as she's getting today.

Nadia cheated, ever so slightly. Her song was in Spanish.

Roughly translated, it was a song about a hat that traveled around the world and had adventures.

Look, she wasn't much of a song writer, okay?

Hey, Nadia stole his gimmick...

So he quickly before performing, translated his Spanish lyrics to Japanese ones.

The song itself wasn't very good. It was about how he couldn't think of something to write as a song, and then developed into an explanation on that he can't think of one because he's a chupacabara, and chupacabara can't write music, all they do is walk around eating goats. Because goats? Were tasty.

It has very catchy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lxyDSXf6hU) chorus, though.

[[ ...yes, this is from the new Negima?! series. I'm crossing fandoms, OMG ]]

Sam was in a very strange mood when she wrote her song. It theoretically matched with the first verse of Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell and has largely to do with astrophysics.

The lyrics were a little suspect, though. Quantum didn't really rhyme with quark.

Oh look, Pip wrote a song in French.

Such an original guy.

It's mostly about love being more important than money.

Zero's song, Try Not To Die (Moron) was a touching love song, only with headbanging.
