Music is Love: [11/7]

Lorne sits on the classroom stage. "First I want to thank everyone for such a great performance you did for the assembly. It was truly a thing of beauty. So much so that I made sure copies were sent to your relatives. At least the ones I could track down."

After the screams and looks of horror passed, Lorne continued oblivious to his students' looks of woe.

"Today kids? We're talking about the ballad. Now a balad can be different things. It can be about love. It can be a story of a poor moutaineer who could barely keep his family fed. It can be about a convoy of trucks or even about the Green Berets."

"Your assignment is to sing a ballad. Make it moving and personal if you can."

"Next week? Your assignment is to write a song of your own on whatever topic you want. Be ready to perform it for everyone."

[ooc: Wait for OCD is up! If you want your parent or guardian to get a copy of your characters peformance? Feel free to do so. If no? Then feel free to do that as well. If you want to yell at Lorne for sending out the packages? He'll give you a drink and a pat on the head. ]

"Uh, sir?" Chad scratched the back of his head as he approached. "You weren't actually able to contact my parents or guardians, were you?"

True, they were all dead. Long dead. But Chad'd been to an afterlife before, didn't find them, still held out an inkling of hope that they could be reached, although he doubted it. Severely doubted it. Wouldn't hurt to ask, though.

[[verdict: Chad's would be the ones that couldn't be tracked down, unless Lorne's crazy enough to send a video tape to a cemetary in Mexico. heh]]
