As the students enter the room, they will notice that there are a number of listening stations set up along one side and a microphone and karaoke machine set up in the front.

Once everyone is present and seated, Lorelai grins.

"I hope you all had a great Fall Break. Thanks again to Marty for covering the last class, I hope you all learned something and had a good time. We're going to be switching gears away from television and covering music for the next few weeks before moving to books and movies. I'll also have information for you in the next week or so about your final projects."

She passes out a handout as she continues. "We're going to start with one of my personal favorite decades of music, the 80s. That's the 1980s for those of you from other times. In my personal opinion, nothing will ever come close to topping 80s music. Today, I want you to spend the first part of the class period listening to some 80s music at one of the listening stations. Then, you're each going to pick a song and perform for us! If there aren't any questions, let's get started."

"I know but I heard the music and I couldn't help myself," Lorne said looking through the music catalog. "Oh here we go!"

Lorne programs in a song and as the music starts he began to dance around Zuko.

"Don't go breaking my heart!

Zuko was trying to scowl at Lorne, but there's dancing and he's not standing still. So he crossed his arms and scowled at the wall instead, trying to ignore the green dancing teacher. It wasn't easy.

"Your turn dumpling," Lorne said doing a booty drop.

"This isn't Music class," Zuko gritted out. Plus, he had no clue what he was supposed to sing anyway.

"But it's a class with music! And your favorite teacher is singing with you!" Lorne replied.

Zuko stared.

"What's the matter poodle? Still feeling ill?" Lorne asked looking concerned.

It's a good thing Zuko didn't know what a poodle was. The concerned look was disturbing and he wondered if it would work. "Yes," he said quickly.

"I know the perfect cure," Lorne said. "It's called Aretha Franklin."

Remembering the name, Zuko's eyes widened. "No, that's fine. The doctor said it's... uh... bad for my lungs."

Lorne looked at Zuko with a raised eyebrow/horn. "Oh really? Sing a few bars for me kid. I'll know if you're telling the truth or not."

"This isn't Music class, you can't make me," Zuko argued.

"Sugar, do you realize that teachers put a lot of hard work into these lessons plans?" Lorne replied is a surprisingly convincing tone. "Lorna believes that this class is fun and will help kids like you. Now take the stick out of your ass and do the hustle with me."

"I do not have a stick near my ass!" Zuko argued and then added slowly. "What's the hustle?"

Lorne began to do the dance steps for Zuko. "C'mon kid! Shake it!"

"Shake what?" Yeah, he should have gone for another question.

Lorne demonstratd said shaking with gusto

Zuko deeply regretted asking. He looked very eager to get off the stage.
