As the students enter into the Dangershop, they'll see that it has been transformed into what appears to be a New York City police Station.

Lorne grinned at the students and shut the door just as a disembodied voice announced:

"In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories."

Then there is a noise that's best described as:

DOINK-DOINK

Lorne smiled a toothy grin. "Congratulations kids. You're under arrest."

He has a warrant for each student listed:
Jack Harkness
Zuko
Teddy Altman
Sam Winchester

You've been sworn in and the Executive District Attorney steps forward towards the stand.

"Would you please state your name for the record?"

It was for the record so Zuko decided to go all big and imporant. "My name Zuko, son of Ursa and Fire lord Ozai. Prince of the Fire Nation and heir to the throne."

The DA facepalmed but recovered.

"Would you please in your own words tell us what happened on the 28th of October?"

"I bought false lottery tickets from the green guy," Zuko said. What? They were his words!

The DA restrained from facepalming again. "Anything else you would like to add to your testimony?"

"He was planning on making everyone sing," Zuko added helpfully.

This time the DA did facepalm. "Thank you Mr. Zuko. You are free to leave."

Zuko looked surprised that it had gone so easily. Not that he was going to protest. "Good," he said, getting up and turning to leave.

"For the record? I'm Jack Harkness."

"Mr Harkness, could you please tell the court in your own words the events of October 28th?"

"I met a dashingly handsome guy - who was green," Jack added helpfully. "With red horns. Seemed like a nice guy, actually."

"And what was this man in costume doing? Did he approach you and offer you anything?"

"I don't think it was a costume, but he did offer to sell me lottery tickets."

Jack figured that's what the DA wanted to hear.

"Real lottery tickets?" The DA clarified.

"I don't think so. I've seen a real lottery ticket, and these looked pretty fake."

"Thank you Mr. Harkness. Is there anything else you need to add for your testimony?

Jack gave that some thought, then said, "Nothing springs to mind, no."

"The court thanks you for your time. You are dismissed."

"Theodore Altman."

Because that was what was on his birth certificate. Kinda. Sorta. Moving right along!

"Could you tell the court what occurred on October 28th?"

"Sure. I bought lottery tickets from him," Teddy said, pointing over at Lorne.

"Real Lottery tickets?" the DA asked in a clarifying manner.

Teddy shook his head. "No, they were fake."

"Uh, Sam Winchester," he said simply.

"Mr. Winchester. For the benefit of the court, could you please describe the events that took place on October 28th?"
