Today the room is arranged so that a movie screen hanging on the wall is easily viewable from all the chairs. In addition to the usual scones, cookies and muffins, there is also popcorn and gummi worms.

"Today we're going to have a brief lecture, followed by a movie. No homework, since you have no classes next week. I hope you all enjoy your break."

"No!" Sam said quickly. "Ask Dad about the car. Seriously. I'm sorry, I promise I won't make fun of your love for the car again."

Dean grinned at Sam's vehemence. "I'll hold you to that," he said.

"Nah," Dean said. "Dad would just make me go back out and get you."

"He would probably be pissed if you deserted me, unless you came up with a really good reason," Sam replied, snickering. "But I'll be good, I promise."

"Yeah, you'll have that detention fresh in your mind to inspire your behaviour," Dean teased.

"If I end up in a costume again, I'm going to be very upset," he said.

"If you want, I can stop by during lunch and try to cheer you up," Dean offered. And to get pictures of any possible costumes.

Sam smiled. "If they'll let you in, and you're not busy or anything, you should totally come by. I might need the distraction."

"Lunch tomorrow it is." He looked at his brother fondly. "Y'know this is the first time either of us have got detention alone."

"We do tend to get in trouble together, don't we? Funny how that works out." Sam smiled warmly at Dean. "But I think I'll be able to make it through on my own."

Dean grinned. "I'll keep my cell on; if it gets too bad, give me a call and I'll come to your rescue."

Sam wanted to remind Dean that he was perfectly capable of taking care of himself most of the time, but he decided to let it go this time around. "I'll be sure to do that."

Dean grinned wider and offered his bowl to Sammy. "Popcorn?"
