Today the room is arranged so that a movie screen hanging on the wall is easily viewable from all the chairs. In addition to the usual scones, cookies and muffins, there is also popcorn and gummi worms.

"Today we're going to have a brief lecture, followed by a movie. No homework, since you have no classes next week. I hope you all enjoy your break."

"Nothing. Just... haven't seen you in a while, is all. Thought I'd say hullo."

She motioned with a piece of popcorn at the sheaf of papers he was holding. "What're those?"

"Hello to you too!" Blair smiled. "How've you been?"

He passed over the papers. "These are a petition (http://lovechildblair.livejournal.com/29215.html) to keep the cafeteria open over the weekend, so students can have a free and healthy choice for food. Do you want to sign?"

Lyra shrugged non-comittally. "Alright, I suppose."

She took the papers, reading the proposal throroughly before nodding. She didn't want him to think she was just signing for the hell of it.

"Seems like a good idea. I know I haven't got endless pocket money." She signed, using the glittery one that always reminded her of him.

"What have you been up to lately, besides picking up a new cause?"

"Why just alright?" Blair asked, taking back the papers. "I've been spending a lot of time with River."

"Just, a lot of school work and stuff. I missed a week, so I was behind for a bit. I got notes and everything, and I'm caught up now, though, so that's good." She paused, her brain processing the second thing he said.

"River? Are the two of you...?"

"Well, I'm glad you're back. Let me know if you need help with anything." Blair smiled. "Yeah, we're dating now. River...River's awesome."

There was significant dopey grinnage here.

"You are? She is? Oh, wow!" There might have been bouncing. "That's so great!"

Okay, definitely bouncing.

"Oh,I might want to go over some of the stuff with you, if that's okay. Notes are good, but sometimes people miss things, you know?"

"Totally, man. We don't have classes at all next week so feel free to find me and we'll go over everything."

"Sounds good. I'd love to get it done early in the week, so I can relax the rest of it. How does Monday sound?" she asked. "I could buy you coffee, for helping me."

[ooc: I'm off school monday and tuesday, and I have another monday thing planned for Lyra, so I won't completely flake out on this, like I did before. *blush*]
