Internet for Dummies, Wednesday 10/25, 3rd Period

"Did everyone have a great weekend?" Abby asked cheerfully from where she perched on a desk. "It was nice to talk to all of your parents or guardians or odd Canadian pseudo-police personnel. If I screwed up in anyway and you need me to write a letter telling them I was drunk or something, let me know."

"Today we start our section on interpersonal communication, or in other words how to meet people, stay safe and get busy online." Abby grinned. "The first step is to create an email address and learn how to use it. I know that most of you already have an address, but for the purposes of today's assignment I want you to create a new one. You'll be using this email in the next few weeks, so make sure it's something you can live with."

Abby gave a brief lecture on the history of email and how to open an account. "Okay, get to it, open an account and send an email to at least one other person in the class."

My parents had an emu in their backyard a couple of weeks ago.

Thay live out in the country, and apparently someone farms them nearby and one escaped. I'll have to ask them if it made any noise.

The females kinda go...boom. Not as in exploding, but the sound they make sounds like a boom. The males just sound like grunting pigs.
