Lorne is sitting back in the lounge area sipping a refreshing beverage as the students file in. Behind him is a clothes rack with various costumes.

"Hey kittens! The big recital is coming up on Friday. Take your time today to work on your act and try out your costumes. If you need any help your Uncle Lorne is right here to guide you. JD? Peter? See me when you have a moment."

Peter nervously walked up to Lorne. He gave Lorne a slight curtsy. "You wanted to see me your greenliness?"

He wasn't very good at talking to teachers.

"Doctor Wilson came by the other day to tell me you needed to do an extra song this weekend to make up for missing his class," Lorne said pulling out the sheet music. "So you JD and Greg will be performing this song on stage as well. I believe we have the costumes available for this song as well."

Peter looked over the sheet music. His eyes got bigger as he read each line. Well, at least he wouldn't be alone singing it.

"Ok sir." says Peter. He looked over at the costumes. "I'll do my best to look pretty."

Marie showed up, looking a little tired.

After the class was over, Conner made his way into the classroom with a (really disproportionate, to be honest) look of impending doom on his face. He was holding a note (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/1086044.html?thread=61036380#t61036380) from Dr. Wilson crumpled up in one hand.

"Hi, Mister Lorne?"

"Doctor Wilson sent me to talk to you," Conner explained, handing over the note. "I missed a test, and I gotta make it up by doing a ten-minute skit in the recital if that's okay with you?"

"Oh I'm sure you're better than you think you are," Lorne said pulling out some sheet music and lyrics. "Here you go Conrad! This will be the perfect song for you."

Conner looked at the title on the sheet music and brightened for a moment. "Hey, I like this s . . . I have to sing it?" Glee to terror in 0.03 seconds. "Well, if it's either that or an F on the test, Christina Aguilera, eat your heart out."
