Bel looked a little worse for wear as he waited for people to arrive, kinda like he'd been beaten up, hit by lightning, and TK'd into a wall all in the space of 48 hours. "Hope everybody had a better weekend than me," he said. "But that brings me to my point. Some of us are in danger because of what we are from people who are afraid of us, and some of us are also in trouble from our own kind. So maybe tonight we could discuss safe places for people to hole up if they need to lay low for awhile. Anybody got any ideas of safe havens around Fandom?"

"The clinic is pretty safe, I think," Lana said. "And certainly Dr. Wilson and Mr. Aziraphale's house."

Bel nodded. "Both the clinic and Caritas have anti-violence spells on them," he said. "Good places for somebody to relax if they need to."

"Maybe some of the magical people here could put similar spells on some empty rooms here?" Lana suggested.

"Maybe someplace in the basement or something," Bel said. "Some place out of the way."

Lana nodded. "That makes sense. Wonder if we could do the same for one or two of the caves, so there were places out away from the main areas, just in case."

"Maybe we can talk to Lorne, find out how that spell is cast and see if we can do it ourselves," Bel said. "We've got enough witchy firepower on our sides."

Lana nodded. "That sounds like a good idea."

Kaylee thought about this for a moment. "Don't that karaoke bar have some sort of spell on it or somethin'?"

"Yeah," Bel said. "That's a good point. I wonder if we can get that spell cast somewhere in the school, too."

"Surprised there ain't somethin' like that in the school already," Kaylee said.

"Guess they figure school security is enough." Bel rubbed his cheek, knowing that it really wasn't.

"Maybe it ain't, huh?" Kaylee said, giving him a concerned look.

"It's a got a few flaws," Bel said. "Like letting some people in who really aren't invited."

"Well, then somethin' oughtta be done about that," Kaylee said firmly.

"If you're in town, you could go to the trooper station." Blair said after listening to everyone. "But we really need a safe location in the school. Putting a spell on a room in the basement or something is a good idea."

"If we could get the spell, think the administration would go for it?" Bel mused.

"I can get the Damn The Man club to organize if they say no." Blair nodded. "But I honestly don't see why they wouldn't. You're only talking about one small area."

"You want to be on that?" Bel said. "You're good with the convincing people and proposals."

"Not a problem, man." Blair said. "Let me know when you've got the particulars arranged and I'll write up the proposal for the administration."

Bel nodded. "I'll talk to Lorne and see if it's even possible to replicate the spell again. Or if maybe Phoebe or Willow could do it."

"Right." Blair nodded. "Do you think we should have a specific room in mind or ask the principal which area they want to use?"

"Some place out of the way but with easy access," Bel said. "Maybe a room in the basement?"

"Maybe we should scout out some places, see what's available." Blair suggested.

"Yeah," Bel agreed. "Wanna go exploring one of these days?"

"I'm so up for that, man!" Blair gave a bounce. "I even have one of those hats with the little lights on top. Which, okay, we might not need...but I look damn cool in one."

Bel smirked. "Sure, just don't expect me to wear one."

Blair nodded and gave him a look that may or may not have been trying to guess his hat size.

Cally poked Bel in the arm when she got a minute to talk to him alone.

"What's up?" Bel asked.

"You know how you owe me a favor?" Cally asked.

"Need somebody beaten up?" Bel said.

"Need a taxi," Cally said, smiling. "Think you can take me to Piper this weekend?"

"Usually my fee is baked goods," Bel said. "But for you I can make an exception. Sure, no problem."

"Piper can make you something for when I get picked up," Cally said. "Thank you so much."

"No problem," Bel said. "Just let me know the time and you're there."

"You are so awesome," Cally said, hopping up on her tiptoes to kiss Bel on the cheek.

Bel blushed a little. "Yeah, I am, aren't I?" he said, grinning.
