Fandom High Observatory, Saturday afternoon

Ellie opened up the observatory for the Parents Weekend school tour. Unfortunately, it being in the middle of the day, she didn't have anything they could actually observe through the telescope, but the dome was open for any who wanted to take a look at her baby. She did have lots of pictures of astronomical phenomenas on display, however.

Ellie smiled. "She's doing fine. In fact, she was the first to come to me with an idea for a science fair project."

"She's been a perfect student," Ellie confirmed. "A pleasure to have in class, really. She seems to get along well with everyone from what I've seen."

Sydney stifled a laugh. "Then she must be happy here; when she is not, those in the vicinity know it. And I'm delighted she is doing well." He held out his hand to Dr. Arroway. "Thank you for taking the time to speak with me, Dr. Arroway. I appreciate your reassurance."
