Cross Spicies Communications - Monday, 7th Period

"Hello class. I trust you found the information on Crows and their language informative.

Today is a review day, so you will be getting into groups of two and conversing in Starling and Snake as we did with Dogs and Dolphins. However, we will begin with the extra credit presentations in the language of Crows.

Door, since Starling had given her trouble, spent quite a bit of time this weekend studying Crow; she translates Four and Twenty Blackbirds for the class, and gets.... most of it... right. The word-choice for what it is that got nipped off might be a bit unfortunate.

Naomi gave a mostly accurate presentation by translating The Three Little Kittens, Little Bo Peep and Jack and Jill into Crow.

After studying the notes over the weekend, Will gave a fairly decent presentation on The Top Five Shiny Things to Steal.

Molly's presentation was pretty good.

Dawn's presentation on Crow should just about have made up for her abysmal performance in Starling. Her vocabulary was decent, but she definitely struggled with a word or two that she forgot.

Jude actually got some practice in Crow this weekend. Well, understanding it, at least. He gave a somewhat short, slow, stuttering, but generally understandable speech about water.

Hey, it works.

"Miss Poppins?" River asked. "I have a question about Berthold. He's the tentacled monster under Buffy's bed. Mostly he eats ice cream, but occasionally he eats our clothes too. Do you think it would be possible to talk to him and explain that's not acceptable, and ask him why?"

Walter had not studied over the weekend. He had not prepared for the presentation and not paying close attention to what was going on.

Shall I have Luna sit out of the revising as I believe she missed the class on the crow language?
