Naomi looked at the food on offer, shrugged and selected what she wanted to eat and sat down.

Even though all this didn't seem to make a very good breakfast (yes, he'd just woken up not too long ago; what of it?), Chad was hungry and grabbed some food. He noticed Naomi sans all sorts of stuff to look at so he wandered over, "Mind if I join you, Naomi ~~although my posting will/may be slow~~?"

Naomi smiled, "hi Chad, sure sit down," she motioned to the empty chairs at the table ~~no problem~~

"Thanks," Chad nodded and took a seat. "You seemed busy with stuff last time I was in here. Got a big project or something?"

"Just reading stuff over for interest," Naomi replied, "it'd been a while since I last looked at it so I decided to go over it again,"

"What kind of stuff?"

See? Chad could totally be conversational.

"Starfleet regulations and information on the Delta Quadrant that I was given when I was onboard Voyager," Naomi replied, "I like to have the information memorized,"

"Cool," Chad nodded. "So, what'd you think of Science-with-an-exclamation-mark this week? With all that Starfleet stuff you do, it probably wasn't as exciting for you as it was for, like, me..."

"It was still exciting," Naomi replied, "I never thought that I'd be able to see the solar system up close looking like it did nearly 400 years ago,"

He smiled a little bit as he swallowed down his bite of boorger. "That's good, then. I never thought I'd get to see the solar system up close at all, so..." He shrugged. "Y'know."

"Yeah with Science-with-an-exclamation-mark I've done things I never thought I would,"

"Me, too," Chad said. "Best class ever, definately."

"I have to agree with that," Naomi replied, "of course I've always liked science so that fact helps it,"

Chad shrugged. "School is school. It's all kinda the same to me."

"I've always liked school," Naomi replied, "never went to an actual school before Fandom High but Fandom's not so bad,"

"I've been to a handful of 'em, and Fandom's definately the best one so far," Chad nodded, with a bit of enthusiasm. Enthusiasm for him, anyway, which just meant that it was more noticable of a nod.

"I was homeschooled before coming here, well growing up on Voyager I didn't exactly have access to a school but now that I've settled down in Fandom I like it,"

The masked and gloved Jamie attack the cafeteria with cleaning supplies and lysol. They restrain themselves from actually cleaning the food but everything else gets a solid attempt at decootying.
