After finishing the coffee, Bridge roots through his knapsack until he finds what he's looking for. He spends the next several minutes constructing a desert island and a sailing ship out of Lego, complete with wee little Lego-men pirates.

Oh noes, some of the pirates have mutinied and have thrown the captain overboard!

Under the direction of their new captain (who is quite obviously from a spaceman Lego set and not a pirate set, but shhh), they've located the desert island.

Oh no, the treasure is guarded by angry ghosts! The pirates are bravely fighting them off.

Having concluded his Lego adventures, Bridge is having some lunch. Library's closed unless you work here.

Bridge is tidying up the library, getting ready to close it for the day.

Can't think of anything witty to say here!

Rory sneaks into the library. It's obvious she's sneaking because she's being very quiet, walking on her tiptoes, but...not actually really watching Bridge to see if he notices her.

Convinced that she will be successful in startling him, she hops up to perch on the desk with a, "Hi!"

Joxer wandered into the library, for what reasons, the world may never understand.

He stared, mesmerized by what Bridge was doing.

A bunch of Jamies enter the library wearing surgical masks and gloves. They give a friendly wave to Bridge and begin to clean every surface of the library and then follow it up with a spraying of lysol.

"Hi Bridge," Angela said. "Legos?"

"No spaceships?" River asked.

"You'll never ge- oh, hey Joxer..." Bridge glances up. "What's up, dude?"

"What are those?" Joxer asked.

"Chip?" Bridge says, holding the bag of nachos he's munching on out to Rory.

"Hey, Angela!" Bridge says, scrambling to rescue the thrown-overboard ex-captain, who slid off the counter. "Yeah. I just felt like being silly today. Shocking, I know."

Rory frowns. "I was sneaky."

"Incredibly so," Angela said, patting a little lego dude on his head. "I'm impressed. This has to have taken hours."

"Very!" Bridge says. "I just happened to look up at the right moment."

"But were you startled?" she asks hopefully, taking a chip.

"I had a lot of free time yesterday, so I figured out what I wanted to make, and then just rebuilt it all during first period." Bridge is kind of a dork.

"No," Bridge admits sheepishly.

"Good morning," Yomiko said as she entered the library. "What's this?" she asked as she studied the Legos.

"Lego!" Bridge grins. "Pirates, see?" he says, holding up one of the wee pirate men for the librarian to see.

Rory looks sad.

And possibly like she's trying not to laugh.

But mostly just full of woe.

"Aww, they're cute. May I make a contribution?" Yomiko asked.

"I'm sorry!" Bridge says, wide-eyed. "It was really very good sneaking."

"Of course!"

"Legos, dude."

"What are legos?"

Yomiko took a piece of paper and folded an origami parrot. He was too large to play with the Legos, so she set him off to the side, where he flapped his wings and looked up at Bridge.

"He doesn't make noise," she said apologetically. "Voiceboxes are beyond me."

"Little bits of brick-shaped plastic that you stick together to make things," Bridge says, waving at the ship he's constructed.

"Wow," Joxer said. "We don't have anything like this back home."

Rory tries very hard not to giggle and fails. "You're not very good at telling when people are kidding, huh?"

Angela laughed. "It's adorable."

"No," Bridge says, turning slightly red and inspecting the counter for... cracks or dirt spots or something. Yeah, that's it.

Rory smiles at him. "Sorry. I do that kind of a lot. But it's nice that you believe everyone's always telling the truth."

"I can tell when people are lying-lying!" Bridge says, frowning defensively. "Sarcasm's different."

"Of course you can. You have the psychic thing and common sense going for you. Sarcasm's tough," Rory agrees, reaching over and patting his arm. "I was just raised on it."

"That is *so* cool," Bridge says, staring at the parrot.

"Not really," Yomiko said sheepishly. "That's just a parlor trick."

"I wish I could do something like that."

"We all have our own skills. I control paper. You...do whatever it is you do," Yomiko finished lamely.

"Psychic. I read energy," Bridge supplies.

"Well see, there you go! That's useful!" Yomiko said. "Er, have you ever thought of working for...say...a library?"

"Uh," Bridge blinks. "Isn't that what I'm doing at the moment?"

Yomiko internally flailed. "I meant, you know, as a job. When you're older."
