When the students came in, the coffee was burbling and the screen was on, displaying what looked to be a pair of piercing eyes framed in red and blue lines. After everyone had signed in and taken a seat, Logan's voice came out of the speakers, sounding a bit muffled and tired.

"Hey, guys. Last week, I said I wanted a short proposal turned in by today. That's still true, but I'm giving you the entire class time today to discuss with your partner and turn in the short, written proposal by the end of the period.

"I apologize for not being there in person today, but I seem to have caught something and, as much as I like you guys, I'd rather not pass it on and make you sick as well. If I'm better I'll be in my office tomorrow, should you need to see me for anything."

[ooc: Huge apologies, but something has been dumped on me that I need to get done before anything else. Sorry for nothing more substantial. Next week will be actual content. You've got until next week to get in the proposal as I'll just leave the post open until then - or just handwave, as you see fit.]

No such luck, King Dork. Jaye frowns and asks, "So what are we doing? Still Peter Be Gone?"

"I'd suggest that Peter Be Gone could just be called 'Jaye', but I think your face on the package would scare people away," Peter said.

"From using it, maybe. Because who in their right mind would want me to go away?"

"Everyone," Peter said. "Why else would you be stuck with me as a partner? Everyone else avoided you."

"Not really. I chose to annoy you," she insists.

"Then why do you need Peter Be Gone?" Peter asked. "You're coming over to me on purpose. You could have just stayed away."

"But this is a more effective way to be sure the product works."

"Fine. Peter Be Gone. That'll be our project. Use it on my now so I can leave, okay?" Peter asked.

"Do we need a formula so I can spray it on you and you'l disappear or go away or whatever?" she asks

"Since you'll be the person spraying it, tap water works. Air works. Just saying, 'Hey, I'm Jaye! I talk to my purse!' works," Peter explained.

"Dude, when was the last time anyone mentioned me talking to my purse? That's so old," she says.

"It's a classic," Peter said.

"I think you need new material," Jaye says back.

"I think you need a new face," Peter retorted.

"Oh, come on, I know you can do better."

"If I could do better, I wouldn't have you as a partner," Peter said.

"That sounds like some impressively low-sense esteem, King Dork."
