When the students came in, the coffee was burbling and the screen was on, displaying what looked to be a pair of piercing eyes framed in red and blue lines. After everyone had signed in and taken a seat, Logan's voice came out of the speakers, sounding a bit muffled and tired.

"Hey, guys. Last week, I said I wanted a short proposal turned in by today. That's still true, but I'm giving you the entire class time today to discuss with your partner and turn in the short, written proposal by the end of the period.

"I apologize for not being there in person today, but I seem to have caught something and, as much as I like you guys, I'd rather not pass it on and make you sick as well. If I'm better I'll be in my office tomorrow, should you need to see me for anything."

[ooc: Huge apologies, but something has been dumped on me that I need to get done before anything else. Sorry for nothing more substantial. Next week will be actual content. You've got until next week to get in the proposal as I'll just leave the post open until then - or just handwave, as you see fit.]

"If the subject of the prophecy will become fixated on it, then they probably shouldn't be told. But, if they're going to live their lives and try to make their own future no matter what, then they deserve to know what a prophecy might say about them," Sam replied.

Dean considered. "Fair enough. As long as you add that the seer should tell their brother regardless..."

"Wow, that was subtle," Sam said sarcastically.

"Hey, just want to make sure the point makes it through all that hair of yours," Dean teased. "But seriously, Sammy, whatever it is you find yourself dealing with, you can tell me. I can handle it."

Sam sighed, looking down at his notebook. "I know you've been able to deal with what's happened so far, and I've already promised you that I'll tell you if the dreams start again." The idea that he might dream about something too serious for Dean to handle was new, and it made him a little worried.

Dean nudged him. "Stop worrying," he told him. "If anything comes up, we'll figure it out together, okay? What stands a chance against Winchesters working together?"

"Not a whole lot," Sam said, smiling softly before glancing up at Dean. "So, what happens if I do...see...something you can't handle?"

"Tell me anyway," Dean suggested.

"That's easy for you to say. I'm pretty sure you're convinced there's nothing in the world you can't handle."

"Just losing you or Dad," Dean said seriously. "And if you ever see something like that..."

"I would tell you," Sam replied immediately. "I'd tell you in an instant, I swear."

Dean nodded, taking Sammy at his word. Thinking that was enough serious stuff, he cleared his throat and changed the subject. "So, how all are we going to advertise the Winchester Inc Paranormal Eliminations?"

Thankful for the change in subject, Sam sat back, thinking. "Well, if we want this to sound like a real business, we need the advertisements that businesses have - business cards, a logo, fake statements from people saying how awesome we are..."

"If we had time we could probably get genuine statements," Dean put in with a grin. "And we need some kind of catchy slogan. Something to build a campaign around."

"I'm sure we could convince a few people to make statements for us in our time of need," Sam said, laughing. "I don't know about a catchy slogan though."

"Yeah, something like 'Kill bugs dead,' except y'know about ghosts and demons and other evil ass things."
