Once everyone had taken their seat, Abby came up to the front and grinned. "Today you're going to go shopping in what amounts to a great big yard sale. Only with a more crap and less lemonade stands."

"Ebay is a network of people who are offering their crap up to sell by auction. You enter in a bid for the item and then wait to see if you win it. If someone else is interested in the item, there might be a bidding war." Abby sighed. "Which means you'll spend an entire day refreshing and bidding just to lose the red leather dog collar for a measly 25 cents at the last second!"

Abby growled and shook her head. "Lousy btrwmnfan83! I'll get you one of these days!"

"Uh...anyways, you're all going to bid on items. Keep a close eye and make sure you don't get outbid and..." Abby smiled happily. "...you get to keep whatever you buy!"

"Was Bob being cooperative?" Josh asked.

"It was touch and go there for a while and it's possible I left an instrument inside of him, but I'm an HMO so it doesn't matter." Abby held out Bob with his techno-additives.

Josh laughed. "Serves him right for not doing enough research," he said to the gremlin. "Congress is heading into the election recess anyway," he said to Abby. "The West Wing'll need something to keep them awake."

He grinned wickedly. "If there's any good footage, I'll share it with you."

"If there's any good footage I expect sharing and chocolate." Abby teased.

"By the way, how are you at bowling?"

"I don't have my own shoes or anything, but I can hold my own," Josh said. "Why?"

"There might be a hallway bowling tournament at our apartment building and I'm scoping out who I want on my team." Abby grinned.

"Hallway bowling?" Josh smiled. "I used to be semi-pro in rolled-up paper wad office baseball."

"Awesome. You'll be our ringer." Abby nodded. "We need a good athlete to make up for those of us who are too pretty to work out."

Josh pretended to pout. "I'm not pretty?"

Abby eyed Josh for a long moment and winked. "You have potential. Ever thought about eyeliner?"

"Not even a little bit," Josh replied.

"I've got some if you want to borrow it." Abby reached for her purse.

Josh took a couple of hasty steps towards the door, holding Bob protectively out in front of him. "I'm good," he said. "Have to go do a thing now. Um, teaching. Yeah."

He smiled and waved Bob at Abby. "Thanks again!"

Abby waved back and laughed. "Have fun doing your thing!"
