Gun Club, noon

Parker opened up the gun range, checked the room, posted the sign, then got out her .Sig and her 9mm and started practicing.

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

The gun range is open.

Pippi took out the glock Pip had given her for her birthday and set about cleaning and claimed an alley.

She was still aiming a bit high and to the left.

Stupid modern guns.

Pip nodded to Pippi as he passed with a revolver. "NEED HELP?" he called.

Pip unloaded his gun and turned on the safety before setting it down and walking over to Pippi. "SHOW ME WHAT YOU'RE DOING!"

Pippi took the stance Pip showed her before and squeezed off a few rounds.

Pip reached around her and repositioned her hands.

Pippi squeezed off the last shots in the clip.

Bullseye every time.

She dropped the empty clip and leaned back against him as she slid a new clip into the gun smiling.

"Could you just be there everytime I had to shoot something?"

Pip blinked a little.

Funny, he had been feeling kind of depressed a second ago.

"Time out! I have to fix Pippi's aim!"

Pippi smirked. It's possible she shoots badly on purpose.

"Feel better? Are you sick?" she asked slipping an arm back around him while pointing her gun down the alley.

Pippi put the gun down to turn around and give him a hug.

"That sounds terrible."

Pip hugged her back. "It kinda is. I've been sad about like... everything."

"That's no good." she said giving him a squeeze. "You should be happy. I'm a queen, I decree it."

"Well, no, it's not just I snap my fingers and you must be happy. But it is my decree and thus all my subjects must see to it that my decree is enacted... Unfortunately, all my subjects are either on an island in the South Seas or... inna mirror... So it's pretty much up to me."
