Walter had a call from Miss Poppins informing him that she was being called away at the last minute (something about getting her uncle off the ceiling? WTF?) and that it was his duty as TA to ensure that today's class went off properly.

As such he stood in front of the class and waited for everyone to be signed in and seated. And because he was just more comfortable this way, there was a setup of tea, biscuits (cookies for you heathens,) and coffee for those who just can't appreciate the finer things.

"Right, then, Miss Poppins won't be here today, but she left instructions for what we're supposed to do.

"We're reviewing Canine and Dolphin today. Pair off with someone. One of you will select Canine, the other Dolphin, and you will speak only in your chosen language. No English.

"Interview your partner in your chosen language and write down both your questions and your partner's answer in English and vice versa. No peeking at each other's sheets.

"Once that's done, Miss Poppins also wants us to translate nursery rhymes into both Canine and Dolphin. When that's complete, turn in your interviews and your nursery rhymes and you're free to go."

//Blue// Lana said with a smile. //Favorite animal?//

//Bats. I've always wanted one as a pet actually. You?//

Lana looked a little startled. //Horses. I've ridden them forever. Mine is back home. It's one of the few things I really miss.//

Kaoru nods, //Horses huh? They are fun to ride. I've only done it a few times. Soo...// He thinks for a moment. //Favorite...food?//

//You'll laugh// Lana said sheepishly. //Grilled cheese, hot chocolate, and a brownie.//

Kaoru tilted his head a bit. //Never had grilled cheese before. But I agree that Hot Chocolate is very good.//

Lana grins. //I highly recommend grilled cheese// she says. //Um... favorite time of day?//

//Easy. Night. I hate getting up in the morning..//

//I like the changing times. Sunrise and sunset.//

He nods. //Alright. Do you like sports? What sort of...extracurriculars do you do?//

//Cheerleading. Running. I work at a book store. How about you?//

//I work at Sparky Repairs currently. Never worked before that... and I used to be in a club back home.//

//Very interesting// she said. She looked around at the class. //Do you think that's enough? We still have to do the nursery rhymes.//

//Sounds good.// He scribbled a few last things before getting up and bowing slightly to her. "Thanks for the help."

//You're welcome// she said with a smile. //And thank you as well.//
