Sakurazaki decided to give this Student Council thing one last hurrah before elections, which meant putting up a few more posters that reflected her more serious and hardworking nature, and drifting around the dorms to meet some of her classmates. After all, she'd procured a list of the freshman classs, to balane out her chances, and realized how many new people she hadn't met.

But she did notice a new person in the cafeteria. A new person that could also be a freshman. Sakurazaki sucked in a breath, hastily got a tray of food, and drifted over.

"Hello," Sakurazaki greeted the other girl with a small smile, "mind if I join you?"

Naomi smiled in response, rather relieved to find someone to talk to, "I don't mind," she said, motioning to the empty chairs.

Sakurazaki returned the smile with a nod. "Thank you," she said as she sat down across from Naomi, took a brief moment to situate herself and her tray. She sent another smile over, very kind and personable. A little bit forced, though, underneath it all. "I'm Setsuna Sakurazaki, by the way; I don't think we've met."

"I'm Naomi Wildman," Naomi replied, "I'm still meeting new people though, or at least new people to me, but you'd be right in that assumption,"

"It's nice to meet you, Naomi," Sakurazaki smiled again. "It is rather difficult to meet up with everyone, and, by the time you have, it seems like that's precicely when all the new students come in, and you're taken right back to the beginning again."

[identity profile] ktarian-wildman.livejournal.com 2006-09-20 02:16 pm (UTC)(link)
"I've only been here for a few weeks and it seems like everyday I'm meeting someone new," Naomi smiled, "it was rather overwhelming at first but I think I've gotten used to it now,"

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-09-20 02:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Sakurazaki chuckled encouragingly. "Then you've adapted quicker than I did."

[identity profile] ktarian-wildman.livejournal.com 2006-09-21 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
"I didn't think I'd adjust this quickly," Naomi replied, "this is my first time attending a school and it was the last place that I wanted to be,"

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-09-21 06:03 am (UTC)(link)
Sakurazaki smiled softly, this time a bit more genuinely rather than her attempt at political facade. "I can relate to that. Not the first time attending a school, but that this was the last place I wanted to be. I've grown terribly fond of it, though."

"In the few weeks that I've been here I realise why people like it at Fandom," Naomi replied

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-09-21 06:29 am (UTC)(link)
"Any particular things happen? Or has it just been the atmosphere in general?"

[identity profile] ktarian-wildman.livejournal.com 2006-09-21 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
"Just the atmosphere in general," Naomi replied, "I've been speaking to different people and they appear to enjoy it and now that I've settled in a fair bit it's easier to enjoy things,"

[identity profile] bound2blade.livejournal.com 2006-09-21 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
"I'm glad you're enjoying it, then. And things are only sure to get more interesting. We haven't even had any jello dragons or voice-stealers yet, but I'm sure you've heard all about those from some of the others."

[identity profile] ktarian-wildman.livejournal.com 2006-09-21 11:29 am (UTC)(link)
"Yeah I've heard bits and pieces about the jello dragons and the gremlins, haven't heard about the voice-stealers though,"
