Archery Workshop #1, 7/11, Danger Shop, Afternoon

As the students entered the Danger Shop, they would find a rather unusual scene. There were three desks arranged in a semicircle in front of a blackboard. That much was at least relatively normal. However, the fact that they were in the middle of a large pasture, with cows grazing in the distance, was not so normal. The blackboard was hanging from thin air, and a tiny, scowling monochrome ninja was sitting on a split-rail fence behind it, punching buttons on a remote in hopes of making the Danger Shop behave. It did not seem to be going well, as the scene flickered to an eerie medieval castle at night, then Times Square, before returning to the cow pasture. Miho decided to leave it.

On a table in front of the blackboard were a stack of handouts and a box of assorted pastries from Jeff, God of Biscuits. Written on the board was, Sign in. Take a handout and a cookie. Direct any questions to the instructor. Behave. Or else.

Miho studied her students with a critical eye, trying to determine which of them were most likely to shoot one of their classmates by accident or try to take more than their fair share of the pastry. And she was pretty sure she recognized that one girl from last term. Back for more, was she?

Then she accidentally punched a button on the remote and a dragon flew overhead.

Alanna snuck in at the end of class and hovered quietly hoping that Miho wouldn't kill her or anything.

"Um...I totally wasn't skipping your class for the past three weeks and was actually a statue in the clinic for reasons unknown?" Alanna managed the whole sentance in one breath.

Gwynn was happily nibbling on a cookie as she added notes from the last class to her handout. Being that she had enjoyed this class last time (because well, duh, archery ran in the veins of her family) and she enjoyed Miho as an instructor (mostly waiting to see what she did to people next) Gwynn had opted to sign up for the workshop again.

After last session, Peter could perform first aid on any injured badgers!

Peter ate a cookie, wondering how exactly he was placed into this workshop and reminding himself not to taunt the ninja or Zero would kill him. If the ninja didn't do so first.

Somebody in the school office was going to be stuck to the ceiling for an hour in the not-too-distant future to make up for this mix-up.

"Is the dragon going to be on the final?" Peter asked, looking overhead.

Alanna sighed and ran her hand through her hair. "You can ask anyone at the clinic, really. They had a blast decorating me."

"No, I was being serious. Fighting a dragon with a bow and arrow would be a great final. Or a giant bird. Either one would be cool," Peter said.

"Whew," Peter said, wiping his brow. The first day and already it looked like he almost annoyed Miho. That wasn't a good sign.
