Karate, Gym, July 5, Morning

As the students enter the gym, they'll notice that standing next to Dr. Oliver is someone unfamiliar.

"Hey, everyone," Tommy says. "First off, I'd like to thank you all for being such a great class. I know that what I had to teach you was a little unorthodox, but you all stuck with it. Anyway, I promised you an explanation, and so I brought my friend Ninjor here," he waves "all the way from the Temple of Power to give you one."

Ninjor flashes the class a thumbs-up. It's possible there's a goofy grin, but since he's wearing a helmet it's sort of hard to tell.

"I'd like everyone to stand in a circle around me, please," he says. One might describe his voice as... nasally.

Last class omg!

"Now, close your eyes," Ninjor instructs. Once everyone's in place, he raises his arms and does... something.

"Okay, you can open them now."

When the students open their eyes they will find they're wearing different clothes (http://pics.livejournal.com/dr_tommy/gallery/00003c1s) and in one hand is a shiny gold coin with an animal emblem on it.

"The animal symbol on your coin is your spirit animal," Ninjor explains. "The strength and wisdom of that particular animal will aid you in your quest." What quest? He doesn't actually say.

[ooc: please mod your own colours/spirit animals! you don't get actual superpowers, though. just a nifty new outfit. and a coin.]

Phoebe signs in.

Tyler signs in.

When Phoebe opens her eyes, she's dressed in a blue outfit with a matching headband. She looks down at her coin in confusion and sees that it contains the image of a large cat-like creature.

"Oh... cool."

Hee. Neat! Do they get to keep the coins?

Hee, Ninjor.

Tyler closes his eyes, opens them, and finds himself wearing a jet-black karate outfit, sashed with a blood-red belt.

His gold coin has a penguin on it.

Of course.

Yep! Souvenirs of a cracked-out class omg :)

And the costumes, too? :)

And yay! I loved having Phoebe in this class. Dr. Tommy is a cool teacher.

Tyler looked puzzled. "What quest can a penguin help me in?"

Sakurazaki signs in.

Her outfit? White, burgundy accents (was that a Mahora emblem on her headband? It was on her head, so she couldn't really tell). And on Sakurazaki's coin, a heron, wings spread.

There was a slight sigh. No surprises there.

Costumes too!

Isabel signed in.

Isabel's outfit is a rather garish shade of pink. With a matching headband, she realized as she reached up to touch it.

She looked down at her coin, surprised to see a wolf.

No super hero outfit for sick Pip! Woe and sadness!

Alphonse signed in.

Alphonse opened his eyes, kind of hesitant to find out what he was wearing. Of course he had to open them eventually; so he finds himself in a red outfit. His coin has... well, the mun is pretty sure you can figure that one out.

He simply looked oddly at his new attire. "Um."

*STILL KIND OF FEARS YOU ANYWAY*

Anything else would have been flat out WRONG.

Conner: *sighs and braces for another round of people saying "wow, your old teacher's weird"*

It would have! And I wouldn't dare to do such a thing to my boy.

Al: *really does think your old teacher is wierd*

Sakurazaki's old teacher is a ten-year-old Welsh magician who's name is a really bad pun about onions. Conner is safe, from her at the very least.

Z signed in.

When Z opened her eyes, she was weearing a yellow ninja outfit. Her coin had something that might have been a spiky alien on it, but she was guessing it was a pangolin.

"OMG," she said, trying not to think about how much she could hock an honest-to-God ninja uniform for.

Z sidled up to Ninjor and held out a notebook and pen. "May I have your autograph?"

I love fangirl!Z so very, very much.

She's still upset that she never got to meet Zordon. :(

Ranma signed in.

Ranma-chan is a bit lost in all this but she follows orders and opens her eyes in a light blue outfit with a racoon on her coin.

"Absolutely!" Ninjor says cheerfully, taking the pen and notebook and scrawling his name. "There you are, young lady!"

Z made a sound very much like, "squee!" as she took her notebook back. "I mean--thank you, sir!"

"Perhaps if you run in to trouble in a cold climate?"

"Oh, it's no problem! I'm glad young people these days are so enthusiastic about their training."

"Er, yeah. I'm all about some training."

John signs in

Tyler shrugged. It was a good enough answer. "Thanks."

John opens his eyes, and his costume is a medium ~~silver~~ gray outfit. He looks at the coin, and sees a ~~robot~~ cockroach. "The hell?"

John walks up to Ninjor and holds out his coin. "Cockroach?"
