Chihaya snuck in and looked around for an empty seat. He saw the assistant looking a bit down and skirted around the back of the class to slip into the desk next to her.

He opened his notebook and started to write. Looking over at her, he cleared his throat and leaned over. "Um. Hi!" he said with a shy smile. "You look kind of down. Are you okay?"
