Various Beach Things- Monday- 2nd period

It was hot. So while class met at the beach, there were also umbrellas and coolers of water set up. You were doing summer right, kids. Just jumping straight into it.

"Welcome to probably the least class-y class you're going to have this term," Kitty greeted them. "We're going to do various beach things. Some sports, some lazing about.... Spoilers: there's going to be a Memorial Day beach party next week, tell your friends." Listen, when you had a beach class on a holiday, take advantage. "Today we're doing nothing. If you want to get in the water, get in the water. Otherwise you can just pick your favorite towel from a selection and hang out with a trash beach read, of which I also have a selection. Also, if anyone can't swim, you should let me know now."

Caleb's beach-wear consisted of his usual shirt and pants, but barefoot and with his sleeves and pant legs rolled up. He'd never heard of sunscreen before Fandom and it had slipped his mind, though he was wearing a sun-hat. And he was standing in the water up to mid shin.

Cal and his red hair had slathered himself in sunscreen and would likely be spending most of the class under the umbrellas, but he couldn't be on the beach and not go into the water!

Arden was on a towel next to Cal, save she was gleefully out in the warm sunshine. No umbrellas for this girl.

"Could you get my back?" she asked, giving him a little smirk. "Wouldn't want my tattoo to get too faded."

It was a class all about the beach. Arden was in and out of the water, flipping through a trashy novel to see if it was something worth recommending to Belle next time they chatted.
