Today once everyone was there, Jon awkwardly lowered himself to sit on the floor. "Apparently one technique to learn to focus and tune out distractions is to meditate, so I've got some meditations for us to try that are supposed to help. You can get comfortable sitting or lying down, and...um. I've brought some pillows and blankets from home, if that will help." He nodded at the pile on the desk. "Just get comfortable and close your eyes, and...oh. I'll turn off the lights."

He got up to do that, though with all the windows it was of limited help. Then he sat back down, fiddled with his phone, and pressed play.

It worked pretty well! Until after a lull, it kept going with an entirely different mediation.

"Um." Jon wasn't entirely sure about this one. Although it was actually weirdly cathartic.

Arden was really, really grateful she'd worked out her 'meditation gives me panic attacks' issues with Cal last year because yikes. This sure would suck otherwise. But now she could relax, breath, and let the fucking bullshit go.
