Lana welcomed everyone to Portalocity, smiling. "Today we're headed to Tokyo, to the Tsukiji Fish Market, which despite the name has a lot more than fish. It's one of the largest markets on Earth, and a huge tourist attraction, though it is still heavily oriented towards food." Not necessarily a downside.

"We've had to fuss with time in the portals so it's not night, so I've also gotten us four hours to explore. Some people will speak English, but if you're worried, you can get help at the information desk. They can also help you find anything in particular you may be looking for."

The portal opened up, and she waved them through. "Enjoy!"

Not as much fish, perhaps, for normal people, but it was difficult for someone with as honed a sense of smell as Luma to get past just how pervasive the scent of fish in a fish market actually was. So don't mind her as she tried her best, nose slightly in the air, to find where the aromas of other food might be strong enough to overpower it, or at least dull it a little, and that was where she was going to be spending the majority of her time.

She was just not a fan.

"I was a smuggler for years," Jack said. "The goods are always cheap where you can get 'em. Being expensive elsewhere, that's just marketing."
