Teamwork- Monday, 1st period

Class today was back in the Danger Shop, which was made up to look like a ropes course, parts of it high off the ground. Was anyone afraid of heights?

"Welcome back to anyone who was indisposed this weekend," Jaina began, not at all looking at a husband who was resolutely not acknowledging that he'd gotten a boot put on him yesterday for being illegally parked. "We're back to it today, where you're all going to throw on some safety gear and make some teamwork happen."

Jag, also resolutely not a car, continued, "You'll have three tasks that will require you to work together to complete them. You'll have to complete all three by the end of class, and no powers are allowed."

"All right," Jaina said. "Let's get you all suited up."

An extremely hungover Jedi was approaching them. "Glad to see you're not a car."

Dammit, Anakin.

But Jag kept from sighing and said, "Same. I hear this is a rite of passage."

"Wait until you wake up sticky before your four year old self went wild on the unsupervised lollipops," Anakin advised.

"We're hoping not to be here long enough for that to happen," he said.

They weren't even supposed to be here this long.

Oh, you couldn't leave yet, Jag! That would be irresponsible to your class!

"Jaina's a pretty cute kid," Anakin said.

That actually got a little tiny smile out of him, good job!

"I've seen the holos. And heard the stories."

"Very spunky," Anakin said, "and I don't use that word lightly."

"Her father uses similar words," Jag nodded, and added, "Fondly."

"I could be fond too, but not today," Anakin told him.

"Was the team building not to your liking?"

Or was he just that hungover? Or a mix!

"It was difficult to concentrate," Anakin said.

What with all of the whiskey still sweating out of his system.

Jag nodded. "Jaina told me some things."

He was very far removed from it all, but some things could be assumed.

"Sometimes the island whimsy can get a little painful," Anakin said.

"So I've heard," Jag said. "It seems to more often be a question of how it's painful rather than if."

"This was a solid 10 of painful."

Jag wasn't what one would call the warmest person, but he sympathized.

"I'm sorry class couldn't help."

"That was entirely my own fault. And a little bit Ahsoka's," Anakin said.
