Boc had remembered trying a French toast cinnamon roll at thr bakery once, but the actual French toast, while looking delicious, also looked quite messy and sticky, and so that was probably right out. He liked the fluffiness that the pancakes seemed to offer, but the waffles with their little nooks were intriguing.

So, needless to say, he wasn't really sure which was he wanted to go, but there seemed to be a smaller margin of error with the cooking methods for waffles, so maybe he would try that? If anything, he was fairly sure he could mix batter decently, even if he was mostly just guessing or watching what other people did and copying them.
