Nadia grabbed some of everything and sat down to eat.

Mmm, french freees dipped chuculete-a moose. ~~Now if she could just get the moose to stop wandering off everytime she tried to get chocolate off of it. . . .~~

John happens to be passing by Nadia while in the cafeteria.

"Forget what I said. Squirrels are better than meerkats any day."

Briar stopped by the cafeteria and grabbed random food.

Nadia blinked, smirking at John's hair. "I don't know, the meerkats are looking pretty awesome."

"This is not my color!" John says, jerking a thumb at his hair.

"That's right, you said something about wearing pink, yesterday."

"Ha ha. You're funny," John says, faking a laugh. "Squirrels are still weak and nutty."

"So," Nadia said conversationally as she munched on a french fry. "Which boy do you think you'll be kissing when I present you with a noble squirrel?"

"You've found a noble squirrel?" John might look just slightly fearful. Not of kissing another boy (he's done that before) but of Aeryn's reaction.

"You shouldn't sound so surprised." Nadia smirked. She hadn't actually gone looking for a noble squirrel yet, but it was really very amusing to watch John squirm over boykissy.

"I'm not because you won't find a nobe squirrel," John retorts, regaining some of his confidence. "And no nicknaming Peter Pevensie 'Squirrel' and using that excuse. He's noble but he's no squirrel."

"Walter's a squirrel," Nadia pointed out. "And a butler. And butlers are required to be noble in attitude, otherwise other, more experienced butlers hit them with rulers."

"I'm a noble squirrel." Pippi said setting her tray down next to Nadia.

"You guys show me your bushy tails and I'll believe you," John says, of course, taking the meaning of squirrel literally.

"I'm not showing you my tail, sorry." Nadia tilted her head. "And I might tell Aeryn you asked me to."

"Uncool!" John exclaims.

"Fine, I won't. It goes against my noble, squirrel sensibilities, but I will lie to protect you, John."

"That's very noble of you Nadia. I, Pippi Longstocking, Squirrel and Princess of Kurrakurradutt should have you landed for such noble self sacrifice."

"You are a true friend," John says and bows dramatically to Nadia. "And I'll kiss a boy if you can produce a noble squirrel. Seriously."

Nadia began planning to train a squirrel how to bow and make it a tiny squirrel crown.

"And I think you should warn your girlfriend and start planning who to kiss. Seriously."

"I will," John says even thoug he totally won't. "People will be lining up to kiss me."

"If they do that, how will you ever choose just one?"

"I'll recruit Walter to kiss the others," John says, teasing lightly.

"Hm. No can do, he's too noble a squirrel to kiss someone else when he's dating me. Perhaps some of your fellow stinkbugs could help."

"You might want to check with me about that," Walter said to John, putting his tray down on the table and grinning.
