Paintball!, Monday, July 29,2024
Since the dog agility course had added a certain something to the paintball game, Steve and Tony had swapped it out for overly large gymnastics apparatus: rings, parallel and uneven bars, a pommel horse to hide behind, a balance beam, two vaults, and a huge tumbling mat to get your Simone Biles on.
"I talked him out of the horse jumping," Steve said with a grin at Tony, "so you're welcome."
"And we couldn't get enough horses in time," Tony sighed like it was something Steve had argued with him.
"And we couldn't get enough horses in time," Steve agreed, laughing. "So we'll use gymnastics equipment instead. The rule this time will be a little like tag--if you're touching the equipment, it doesn't count if you get shot."
"But you need to move from one to the other to get to the finish line in order to win," Tony added. "Camping is discouraged."
He said like the people in the class wouldn't do it anyway.
"And we might've added motion sensors to see how long you stay somewhere," Steve added blandly, "so keep it moving."
