When the poor schmucks Fandom arrived in the park on Wednesday, they would see four wooden rafts, big enough to each hold five people (or Muppets), bobbing on the pond. In the center of each raft was a metal bucket full of objects. Some were balloon-shaped, some were ball-shaped, others were clearly shoes. One looked suspiciously like Intern Porg, desperate for a news story.

"My thanks to Don and Jane for covering for me the last two weeks. We are doing something that didn't require much effort on my part to set up," Anakin said, which was pretty straight-forward of him. "We're doing a balloon-ish toss! Pick an object, toss it to your teammate on the next raft over. Do not miss, or break the object! Fastest team to get all the way around the circuit wins."

He grinned. "Powers may be used today. And there are plenty of objects in the buckets. No one says you have to only toss things at your own teammates."

Sometimes Anakin just liked to watch the world burn.

"Listen for your names!"

Damn those Ea-Nasir hardwoods. Dean stepped back right into that wood and his booted foot when right through, sending him tumbling into the water.

So now there is a wet and sputtering Dean in the pond.

"To remind us all that the Dean is emotionally dysregulated, I think!" Arden called back.

What? It was her best guess!

"Thank you, most beloved," Liliana said through clenched teeth. Just like. So helpful there, Ignis. So much. "I don't suppose that a reason why was included."

"And he needs that verified in public?"

"If you're already in the water," Liliana called, "would you like to just swim me over something?"

Look, why should she effort when somebody else was already efforting?

"I'm ready!" Raiden assured him as he reached up to catch that porg.

Steve snorted. "Sure," he said, "but I'm not holding anything right now?"

"Hey, Gladio! Catch!" Raiden yelled, holding up the porg, which he could only hope had consented to be included in this activity. It seemed to be having fun?

Don would like it known that he had excellent hand-eye coordination, thank you, despite the fact that he fumbled this catch and ended up soaked, with an exploded water balloon. "I meant to do that!"

Don grabbed a water balloon that felt suspiciously heavy and squishy and, after a glance in the bucket, decided it was probably his best bet despite those factors.

"Hey, Ignis! Heads up!"

Don was not what you'd call a natural athlete, so this was probably going to go...badly...

"Miss Henry!" Lydia called. "Miss Henry, catch this!" 'This' was a jelly sandal coated in...Lydia cared not to know what. She only knew she wanted it out of her hand as quickly as possible.

She did not have what one would call a natural throwing arm, but she did her best, so, uh, good luck, Henry?

"Don't look now, darling, but there's a whole bucket of things on a raft behind you!"

Liliana was very helpful.

"I'm sorry, sir, but I literally have no better explanation," she said. "This is actually a very tame one. There are no dead bugs or chocolate pudding!"

A pause.

"...The school pays him for this, in fact."

"Good!" Ben said as Steve Rogers tackled him into the water.

"That's very helpful," Steve said dryly. (It was the only part of him that was dry.) He waited until Rogers tackled Skywalker, then grabbed the first thing he touched in the bucket and tossed it at Liliana--a balloon filled with pudding.

Sorry, Liliana.

"What the f--," Flint said, trailing off and belatedly remembering his manners. Young woman, not Eleanor, Flint. Watch your language.

He did that deliberately and with malice aforethought.

Because, oh, the SHRIEK OF OUTRAGE when she caught the balloon - probably more skillfully than most people were expecting - only to have it explode all over her in pudding.

Tapioca pudding.

Not as much of it got on her gown as you might expect. Because most of it got onto her face, hair, and cleavage. There was a moment of stunned horror as she just looked at him. And then:

"OFFICERS, I'D LIKE TO REPORT A MURDER!" Preemptively.

And Liliana was still laughing, because she was still the worst.

Don't worry, Dean. She wasn't coming through unscathed.

After Beaker pulled himself back onto the raft, he found a rubber chicken in the bucket to throw in Vi's general direction.

"Of course, darling!" Liliana called back. "And so I shall swear to testify, even if they question us separately."

Big words for a woman about to get tapioca'd

Oh, he should hear Arden when she didn't have her people-pleasing manners on!

"Sir, I assure you, if I had a decent answer to that question, I'd sleep better at night."

Steve was not an idiot (don't listen to Danny), so he was just gonna...go back to his raft and maybe hide there.

Forever.

"Whoops!"

"How much does the school pay him to do this?"

Flint, that's not the part of this you should be focusing on, maybe?

"You know," Liliana said, no longer yelling but still easily heart, "if you all throw me McGarrett, I won't rot the raft out from under the rest of you."

Stark was certain his name would be called this week. He was dreading it. But he was also hoping that if it was called he'd at least feel a sense of relief that the waiting was done.

No such luck. His name remained uncalled. His paranoia remained healthy.

But he was going to watch this chaos. Might as well, right?
