In the Cupcake of Good and Evil, Tuesday 2nd Period [4/16]
Stark was looking somewhat subdued this morning. He had a lot on his mind and some of it even related to class. Sort of.
“We have something a little different for you today,” he said. “Inspired by the weekend’s visitors. Inspired by our,” he paused and nodded to Summer, “visitors. They helped us plan today’s class before they had to leave.”
He flashed a fleeting grin at Summer, and Summer returned it with an encouraging one. “They chose the ingredients we’ll be working with today. All of them. The idea is to use all of them in your cupcakes. For good or evil, I suppose, though whether both are possible is something of a mystery.”
Inside each basket were conversation hearts, fresh ginger, a durian fruit, and, as a nod to their half-sister, some coffee.
"So it's liked Chopped," Summer offered, "only cupcake-specific and with ingredients picked out by two kids that are probably exactly what you'd expect by mixing our," she gestured between her and Stark, "DNA."
What a poetic way to put it, Summer.
"Let's see what you've got."

Whoops?
(Eh. It was bound to happen eventually, though, right?)
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
"Maybe I should have made something edible," Stark said.
Conversation hearts were only technically edible.
"There wasn't really time though." He'd had a lot of feelings to deal with last night.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
"Well, you do have time now," Summer pointed out, "and this classroom's usually pretty conveniently stocked with plenty of ingredients. Or....you've got a bit between this class and Amaya's, right? We could go grab a bite to eat, maybe?"
It was fine, she could just edit her gym ping later.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
"I have time before class," Stark agreed. "We could get breakfast?"
His un-eaten heart wasn't quite in making cupcakes this morning.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
The grin went a little tilted.
"Diner's probably a no-go today, right?"
Oh, the irony! That this would actually be one of the rare Tuesdays when it would have been totally okay!
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
"There's always the coffee shop for breakfast sandwiches. Or the bakery? Sandwiches sound good."
Alas, the Waffle House was nowhere to be seen this week.
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
"Assuming, anyway," she added, "we don't just fill up on all these awesome cupcakes everyone's going to make."
Re: Talk to the Teachers [4/16]
Or maybe Anakin would try and make something horrible just because.
