Battle Tactics and Strategy; Thursday, Fourth Period [04/11].
"Sometimes," said Ignis, starting right in on the lecture without a moment to spare at the beginning of the class period, "the key to war is not in weapons or troops, but in what you have with regards to supplies. Now, weapons and troops do indeed fall into this category as well, but what about the other things to keep your side running: food, water, electricity, and other resources are vital not only to ensuring a strong battle force, but also keeping the citizens and the people you're protecting well and safe. And that is what I wish to discuss today."
And discuss, indeed, he shall, launching into the sort of exhaustive breakdown of the various aspects of supply and logistics as a whole in the matters of war, and why they were important, including various types and classes, methods of procurement and distribution, and, as he made very evident, all the things to consider when actually obtaining and sending out supplies, to both military and civilian outfits alike.
And, if everyone was still awake and following after all of that, he offered a small nod to indicate it was time for someone else to do the talking, and to pursue the activity of the lesson, which was...more talking.
"And so," he said, "with all thathandwavey goodness in mind, I'd like to propose a few thought exercises and scenarios for us to consider. You will be presented with a limited list of supplies, and will need to work with each other to decide how best to distribute them, determine whether or not they are sufficient, and consider options for procuring more if necessary. Let's see what we can do to make sure that those who support us in battle also have support."

You know, perhaps he should retract his narrative insistence in previous conversations with other people on the level of this woman's evilness after all...
And he waited, just a moment, before muttering back, perhaps just for ears that happened to be paying particular attention, "I want a five-minute truce for the sake of coffee."
