"Well, that wasn't as relaxing a trip as we normally get," Steve began, "but it definitely gave us ideas for class this week. Today we're going to take about reinforcing buildings to withstand large-scale hits."

"Like how skyscrapers are built to shift slightly with strong winds and with earthquakes," Tony chimed in, bringing up some images of them for the class.
Steve nodded. "That doesn't mean that your building needs to look like a soulless concrete bunker, though. A building can look airy while still being solid."
"But there's also nothing wrong with a sleek, modern look," Tony said, definitely not speaking from experience.

"So, let's all design a building," Tony said like he wasn't about to be teased here. He was, but that wasn't important.
"And then we'll put it on the earthquake simulator machine," Steve said, pointing to it. "Remember to make it nice to look at too!"
