Getting Out of Scrapes - Fast, Friday
"Today's scrape is a classic," Atton said, leaning casually against a slot machine. "It's night. You've just spent the past few hours gambling. And maybe - just maybe - you weren't completely honest with your cards. It can happen, right? Mistakes, blah blah."
He shrugged one shoulder.
"But the mobbed up casino figured it out," he said. "Now you can make a scene and bail the old-fashioned way, or you can talk them out of it, or maybe even into another wager. Who knows?"
At the poker table just feet away, a woman looked up, frightened, at the two heavies and the one well-dressed guy making their way towards it.
"Take your seat," he said. "Let's play."

Re: Get A Secret, Third Way
She considered for a moment, then pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "So there's this problem at a casino...". She held the phone away from her ear as the yelling started, then waved over the well -dressed man. "My Auntie Jane - Gale? She'd like to speak with you for a moment."
Apparently the Aunties were just as effective in a simulation as they were in the real world, because the man quickly paled, waved off the two heavies, and waved a hand at Charlie to stay put. He nodded and 'yes ma'am'ed for another minute or two before handing the phone back to Charlie.
"Sorry about that, Miss Gale. Please enjoy a dinner on me." He snapped his fingers and his assistant rushed up with a voucher. "Um, your Aunties assured me that -"
"I know," Charlie said, "Youthful exuberance and all that and I'll never mess with your cards again. Apologies. I'll just take myself out of your hair, and thank you."
She stood up with her must charming smile - and Charlie could really turn on the charm. "Beautiful place you've got here," she said, then headed out the door.

"I assure you, gentlemen, it wasn't what it looked like. I would never do such a thing."
