20th Century Food Crimes, Friday 6/16, First Period

"Last week," Summer said, "we talked about foods in other things, and this week, we're going to talk about things that sort of look like other things, in the same vein as our liver pineapple from the first week. But this time, we're talking some big surprises to find underneath an almond haystack and a this adorable igloo."

Spoiler alert! It was MEAT!

Of course it was meat. Why wouldn’t it be? Stark shook his head and gave a little sigh. “At least these are cute,” he said. They’re little buildings made of food. They probably don’t taste cute.”

There was…a paaause from Summer. "Okay," she said, "that actually is kind of a cute way to look at it. But, yeah, taste wise? Let's find out!"

“Must we?” Stark asked. “Really?”

"Yes, Stark," Summer said with a nod. "We must. That's the whole class."

Adorable as hidden meat recipes may now be to her, Summer was, admittedly, a bit distracted, trying not to think of all the stuff she still needed to do in preparation for her bartending gig that evening.
