Today, class was in the Dangers Shop, which was set up to look like the beach with an area marked out in a grid with strings.
"So traditionally treasure gets buried, whether by accident or on purpose," Aphra started. "In the first case, you might luck into a map, but with the second, hard work is the name of the game." Please ignore that it was Aphra telling you all this, do as she said, not as she did.
"Now we've done you the favour of narrowing down the area the treasure's been buried in," Isabela added. "But you'll have to do the last part yourselves."
Which would explain the brightly coloured plastic children's shovel sets.
