Music 201 - April 20, 2006 - Period 7 - Class #27

[OOC: Sorry it's so late!]

Yay food. There's a smorgasbord of food to choose from today.

"Afternoon dudes! Today we're learning about personal theme songs. Every superhero or regular hero or even minor character who died in season one but had brief recurring appearances has one. Let's look at a few."

Ted plays several opening credit sequences from various superhero TV shows.

Bitterwoman
[OOC: Wonder Woman]
Bitterwoman!
Bitterwoman!

All the world is waiting on you,
For they fear your PMS,
And if anyone might,
Say your top's too tight,
Then you'll beat them black and blue!

Bitterwoman!
Bitterwoman!

Now the crims they run from you,
'cause they know what you might do.
With whip and heels,
Ignoring their appeals,
Think their white lies are the truth?

Bitterwoman!
Stay the hell away from
Bitterwoman!

We all quake when you are stressed,
And are quite happy to attest,
You're a sight to behold,
When you begin to scold,
Stop the brawls,
You own their [static]!

Bitterwoman!
Bitterwoman!
Why are you so bitter?
Bitterwoman!

Wormhole X-treme
[OOC: The rip-off show of Stargate]

Wooormhooole, it's a great big world, with a great big swirl that you step inside to another woooorld. We're talking Wooormhole, it's a crazy trip. You can go quite far and you don't need a car or even a ship. There's Colonel Danning and Monroe and Levaaant and Greeell. Look out for that [static]!

There are also snippets from Really Strong Guy Who Can Fly, The Ambiguously Gay Duo, Radioactive Man (from the previously unreleased movie soundtrack), and Orgasmo ("Now you're a man! A manny manny man!").

"Okay, so. Personal theme songs represent the person they're about. They're totally your musical resumes. So talk about some of the theme songs you know of that are the most triumphant."

[OOC: And remember to meta any shows/movies/characters you use.]
