Fight Stuff- Monday- 3rd period
The class met in the Danger Shop, where Jaina was already amassing quite a few bags today. It was more annoying than anything else, as someone who'd been around forever and who also had at least come to terms with most of her baggage. These were mostly just reminders.
"Welcome to Fight Stuff, where you're apparently going to have to fight stuff," Jaina greeted them, immediately reaching a hand out to slide a giant trunk across the room and out of the way as soon as it hit the ground. No one needed to see anything about her assassinating her twin on the first day of school. "We'll be meeting here every week to face off against different enemies, and you can get some training, or learn some skills, on the way. You're in the Danger Shop, so nothing can actually hurt you, and so powers and weapons are okay. I'll even have weapons at the start of class in case you want to try something new.
"This week, for no particular reason, you're going to be fighting a moose. And quite probably, your own issues. Good luck."

Fight a moose
And you're fighting it all at one time, and Jaina figures this will take up the entire class period. Good luck.

He did, however, peek up over at his classmates, to see what they might choose. They were all friends, after all, so clearly, he just assumed they'd make this a group effort and work together, so maybe they could cover all the bases between them.

Re: Choose your weapon
He glanced over at Graham with a shy smile, “hi - “ he started to say and of course that was when a bright rainbow suitcase appeared labelled ‘in the closet’
Guillermo turned bright red and stared down at the floor, wishing it would swallow him up.
Re: Choose your weapon
That last part was said with an exceptional bold, growling sort of tone as he flex and curled his fists to show the mighty prowess that he absolutely did not have, and that was when Graham noticed the colorful suitcase and tilted his head at it, looking confused, because, despite what it said, it clearly was not actually in any closet at all!
And if Graham had any sense of self-awareness about it, he might have been hit with a nick sack of Oblivious right now, but, as it were, he was still apparently good with just his two about Not Living Up to his Potential and his Dead Dad.
Well, there was the socially stunted one, too, but that had been tucked away in his cloak by now.
Re: Choose your weapon
Suitcases with ‘In denial’ and ‘catholic guilt’ then appeared and he grimaced.
“I mean …um…the axe does sound cool, it could be a theme,” he said awkwardly, “even though using your bare hands would be different and …um…” and then he noticed the bags Graham had gotten and he wasn’t sure what to say to that. “Um…”
His voice trailed off awkwardly as he got his very own ‘can’t talk about feelings’ bag.
Re: Choose your weapon
Because maybe the island actually had no idea what to do with you and your currently somehow impervious to trauma self, Graham?
Don't worry, that'll definitely catch up with him, but not for at least a year or so.
And, knowing there were only two bags visibly accountable right now, he reached into his pocket to pull out the little pouch that said Socially Stunted and dangled it in front of him. "See? I was hoping there'd be jewels or coins in there...it looks like the kind of bag you'd find jewels or coins in, right? But, alas! It's pretty empty."
He opened it up and turned it upside to prove it.
"I like your really colorful one, though!" he added, with a nod toward that first one. "I'm glad you didn't listen to it, either, it's way too pretty to just stay inside of a closet all the time."
Re: Choose your weapon
Aside from the fact that all of his secrets being revealed that is.
“It would be nice if there was something in the luggage,” Guillermo considered, because that might make this whole thing less awkward. “it wouldn’t be so bad then,”
Guillermo glanced down at the rainbow one, at least Graham hadn’t seemed to pick up on what it meant.
“It is rather colourful isn’t it?” he could totally talk about the actual aesthetics of the suitcase and not about what it was revealing.
As he said it another trunk labelled ‘Vampire Killler,’ appeared in black and red.
