Anakin was back today, so your Wednesdays were about to get a lot less fun and little more insane. And your shirts will be terrifying again.

Stark, we'll miss you.

"Today, inspired by a conversation with Stark and a collaboration with local food vendors, we will do food-based games!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "Listen for your names!"

Yes, one of the shirts was a repeat. Anakin had a lot of Taco Cat. He also, strangely, had a lot of a shirts with a former Fandom mayor's face on it. He didn't ask questions, he just passed out the polyblend.

"I guess I can be the wheelbarrow." Ground burgers couldn't be worse than whatever Summer was planning for class.

Stark was stronger than he looked, especially since he had a tendency to make himself look smaller than he was. He didn't think pushing Graham along would be terribly difficult.

"If you're sure you want to eat the burgers off the ground." Honestly, Anakin, why were you like this?

"Shall we get started?"

Hey, she was reasonably sure she'd never actually eaten... that, just not for any reason that would reassure Steph.

"Not at all," Vi said doing just that.

"I'm not sure places like Mooby Land are all that hygienic in the first place," Rey said, unbothered.

"This is a sickness," Jaina said, donning her cheeseburger shirt.

"I can cheat with telekinesis," Jaina said. "We've got this."

Who cared if you weren't practiced at chopsticks when you had the Force!

Well. Jon could use his off hand, or he could use the one with burns and nerve damage.

Sigh.

He was doing his best, okay?

Had Anakin outright said no powers today? No, he had not.

If there was one thing Lana was good at after decades in Sith bureaucracy, it was rules-lawyering. She was absolutely picking up that pie with the Force and turning it around as she ate it as quickly as possible.

The jokes that could be made if Steph were the type of person to make them, though.

"A definite improvement," Steph decided, nodding. "For you, anyway."

"Oh, I liked last week's shirts more," Belle said, giving her odd sushi shirt a slightly disappointed look.

"I mean, Mooby Land obviously," replied Steph, who'd eaten at enough sketchy roadside joints en route from one gig to the next that she just took that as a given. "The fancier places, though."

She indicated the plate of spaghetti.

"It looks good, I gotta admit, so... shall we?"

"Eight just seems like a lot," Sakaki said, now feeling a little bad that this meant Vi had to eat the burgers, but not bad enough to change her mind, and she positioned herself with her hands held out so that she could hold Vi's legs whenever she was ready.

"It's not that bad," Rey said, putting on her own cheeseburger shirt.

"Sure. Meatballs first?" That seemed easier?

"You and Grandfather are hanging out too much," Jaina decided.

"I definitely want to eat the burgers off the ground!" said Graham, in a way that actually left absolutely no room for sarcasm at all, that's how infused with hopeful sincerity it was. "And, yes! Let's!"

So, with that, Graham was on his hands and knees, looking over his shoulder to see if Stark was ready for him to put his feet up and they could get this wheelbarrow hamburger eating party started!

"Meep mee meep meep?" Beaker asked, looking worried. Were they exploding meatballs? Maybe just the one he touched?

Steve could probably kill a guy ten ways with some chopsticks but he was sure that's not what this kid was asking. "I grew up in Hawai'i," he said instead, neatly picking up the graham cracker and moving it, then grabbing another and another, assembly line style. "I ate a lot of Asian food. If you move your fingers lower on the sticks, they're easier to control."

"Then you should have all the burgers," Stark told him before holding out his hands ready to grab Graham's ankles.

Maybe he would get a burger that hadn't sat on the ground later. Or tomorrow.

"Should I be worried for next week?" Stark asked warily. He hadn't ended up with a faceful of pie or burgers or pasta and that just seemed so unlikely when Anakin was running things like this.

Way easier.

"Works for me," Steph agreed, "even if two meatballs to all this spaghetti seems super not fair."

Hopefully nobody in this group was doing keto or whatever.

"Always," Anakin said merrily.

"More than usual? I thought for sure I would have to hug you while covered in pie filling today."

Stark had even spent some time weighing the pros and cons of removing his mask or keeping it on if he'd needed to stick his face into a pie or a plate of spaghetti.

"Maybe I was going easy to thank you for last week."

Maybe. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe.

"That doesn't sound like you," Stark said. Especially after Anakin had had to excavate his office door on Monday.

"Maybe you just didn't want a hug."
