Fandom Gladiators; Thursday, Third Period [05/13].
Yoga had been surprisingly great, but maybe a little too chill for Rosa to want to keep up consistently. The beastly savagery demanded a return, and so she found herself, once again, back in the ridiculously stupid Fandom Gladiators mod here in the Danger Shop, and loving every second of it.
"Well, everyone," she started, "congratulations on being in the coolest class available in the summer," yes, cooler even than Paintball, she knew that was a bold claim, but she was going to stand by that, dammit, "Fandom Gladiators, where weekly, you'll be put to the test in a series of physical challenges to see who comes out on top...or at least sucks less than the others. My name is...not important, because when we're in the arena, we will only be known by our gladiator names. Mine is Exterminator. I have lived up to that name through many, many Fandom Gladiator classes in the past. So, you're all going to pick your own gladiator name...or get assigned one by me, which you do not want. Trust me on that. You want something cool and intimidating, like Hawk or Nitro or Storm. Bonus points if you put together a backstory or gimmick, but choose wisely, because once you pick your gladiator name, you're going to be stuck with it.
"Then? We're going to suit up," she gestured toward the collection of foam pads and helmets, "because even though this is the Danger Shop so no one will really get hurt, it's part of the traditional Gladiator uniform. And if you were an idiot and didn't wear clothes you can move easily in, don't worry. We have you covered with some clearly very flattering gym uniforms.
"And once that's out of the way," Rosa finished, "get ready, because we're doing Human Cannonball. Not as cool as it sounds, but you still get to run into people, so still pretty cool. I'll explain more when we're finished suiting up and naming ourselves. You." She quirked her chin up at the quintessential nearest random person. "You go first."

Listen to the Lecture - Gladiators, 07/07.
Class Activity: Gladiator Names - Gladiators, 07/07.
But give Rosa your new Gladiator name, and talk about why you picked it. If you have to. And that's who you are for the rest of the semester, so don't make it lame.
Class Activity: Human Cannonball - Gladiators, 07/07.
"Alright, cool. So....here's how this works: each of you are going to take a turn on that raised platform there. Take one of the cushioned shields to help you out. And then your fellow gladiators are going to swing from the rope from the higher platform over there, and try to knock you off. Cannonballs, you just get one chance to swing and hit and knock the gladiator off the platform. Gladiators, once you're off, you're off. Whoever manages to stay on their platform the longest gets an advantage next week, as does the person who gets the most knock-offs.
America's Ass, you're up first."And your lovely RNG'd rounds will go as such, feel free to play them in order, out of order, construct elaborate reasons and/or glitches to justify the all-powerful RNG results, etc etc etc:
Steve R.: Annie goes first, followed by Lana, who knocks Steve off!
Gray: Steve M. goes first, followed by Billy, who knocks Gray off!
Duke: Five goes first and knocks Duke off!
Hannibal: Duke goes first and knocks Hannibal off!
Five: Hannibal goes first and knocks Five off!
Diego: Lana goes first, followed by Duke, who knocks Diego off!
Billy: Diego goes first, followed by Annie, who knocks Billy off!
Annie: Steve R. goes first who knocks Annie off!
Lana: Billy goes first, followed by Duke, who knocks Lana off!
Steve M.: Gray goes first, followed by Five, followed by Annie, followed by Lana, followed by Diego, FOLLOWED BY Billy, who finally knocks him off!
So Steve M. is clearly the winner of this one, with honorable mention to Duke for being the most successful cannonball.
Gladiators on the platform, ping in and get ready! Cannonballs, play it out however from there with respect to the all-knowing, all-saying RNG!

So there. He crouched down behind the shield in a move he'd absolutely stolen from Rogers and waited.

They respected tradition in this Arena.

He'd still answer to America's Ass.

...also possibly what she'd used the last time she was in this class, but that was decades ago, so damned if she could remember.
Re: OOC - Gladiators, 07/07.
Although I am perfectly willing to keep it Hannibal if that's more amusing.

No, really, try; he'd be amused by whatever Rosa came up with.

HannibalMiguel was trying to be good and not dig in with his talons, and not just stick himself to his platform, and...crap, was that his boss?Yeah, he was going down.
