Flight and flying- Tuesday

Back to the Danger Shop today, where they were in a wide open field, with some cliffs not too far, just in case,

"Today you're using jetpacks," Jaina announced, holding one up. If they looked a little Mandalorian, that was what she was used to. "If you're unfamiliar, these strap onto your back and propel you into the air somehow without serious burn injuries."

She walked them through a demonstration on how to use them and direct yourself, and then said, "Everyone pick one up and let's try."

Now, these were a genuinely new experience to Ghanima and the vast majority of her her inner lives, and she was delighted.

It was a laughing, gleeful Ghanima who was enthusiastically launching herself skyward, and laughing even harder when her landings were less-than graceful.

"I need about a dozen of these," she decided, wiping her hair from her eyes. "I will make an absolute menace of myself next time I'm forced to attend court."

Okay, this was different. Not having to account for air currents and all added a whole new dimension to the experience--very maneuverable!

Now to just not fall asleep and crash land.

Goose had definitely never done this before and was trying to go as fast as he could.

Somehow he even had managed to avoid crashing but time would tell how long that would last.

Lana had seen Mandalorians using these, but that didn't exactly translate into knowing how to use one.

Fortunately, nobody had said anything about not using the Force to help stabilize herself.

Alara was from a planet with extremely high gravity, so it was taking her quite a while to get the hang of using the jet pack.
