ALL PUNCH, Thursday, Period 3
The inn looked positively cosy today, with all the bar furniture replaced with beds and cushions and pillows, and Cara had, once again against her better judgement, let Jaskier have his lute.
"The island is being annoying again," Cara said through gritted teeth, not that she drank as much coffee as some, but it was the principle. "So today's class is about fighting fatigue."
"By napping," Jaskier called from his position laying back on a pillow whilst playing his lute.
"By napping," Cara repeated. "It's a more laid back kind of fight."
"It's preparing yourself for battle," Jaskier totally explained. As a fighter himself. "Which is vital for success."
"Also you can annoy all the people who haven't had naps by being chipper." Because Cara was also just that petty sometimes.
