How to Be A Chocobro; Friday, First Period [12/10].

Without going too far into the sordid details, three men sharing a bed and waking up to unexpected pushy mistletoe had led to quite a bit of a....tense atmosphere in the classroom that morning. The whole ordeal had been quite the complicated mess, and they were all quite certain that no one had gotten out of that situation feeling even remotely good about it, the mistletoe included.

But they would try to put on their best faces, regardless, and absolutely avoid talking about it at all if entirely possible. And, at the very least, it appeared they were entirely safe from any mistletoe shenanigans while in the Danger Shop, and it allowed for a convenient topic to cover for the class.

Ignis, of course, would be the one to lead the charge.

"Sometimes," he started, "there may be situations where effective teamwork may seem a bit....elusive. For a....variety of unexpected reasons, things may not go exactly the way you planned or a situation can prove to be frustrating to the point of inspiring a certain...tension," he gave his sulking comrade a sort of withering look, as if to suggest that they should all be quite over this remarkable display of immaturity by now, "amongst a team. But there is often a job to do, anyway, which is why a true...'Chocobro,' as it were, will push through even the most awkward of circumstances and continue to get the job done.

"Now, clearly," he continued, "true tension like that is difficult to just fabricate out of no where in a classroom setting, but we figured, at the very least, we can discuss our own experiences with such...frustrations here today to get an idea of how other might handle when things don't go smoothly or perhaps use examples from your own experiences to inspire others, before we throw you into a situation where at least one tension-causing element can be present and controled and that is..."

He trailed off, gesturing with a hand toward Prompto, as that was his cue, but it was clear from his thousand-mile stare off to the side and pretty much every freckle on his face standing out against the backdrop of a ferociously red face, that the other teacher was going to miss it entirely.

Ignis delicately cleared his throat. When that didn't work, Gladio stepped in to nudge him roughly with his elbow.

"Panic!" Prompto, jarred back into the moment, shouted out, eyes wide and blinking, before he shook his head to clear it and tried again, his face somehow managing to go more red. "Er, um, I mean, uh...." He cleared his own throat, too, though it didn't seem to do much good. "Right, uhhhhh, Panic. Chocobo Panic. We're going to play that, or at least a version of it I put together for the Danger Shop, and, basically, what's going to happen is that you're all going to be in control of a flock of chocobos, and that flock is going to get bigger and bigger and start filling the room with too many chocobos, and eventually, the capacity is going to be too big and an alarm will go off that'll tell you to 'Let go!' and one of the chocobos will flash. That's the chocobo you have to get rid of so it doesn't get too crowded. If you release theh right chocobo, awesome, you're good, the game continues at the same pace, but, if you get the wrong chocobo, you get five more chocobos added to the flock. The chocobo is only going to flash for a moment, so you've got to pay attention, even with everything else going on, and you've got to help each other if you've missed it, and it's going to add more chocobos if you don't reach the flashing chocobo in time, too, so basically, it's probably going to be chaos between you and all the chocobos, and so that's when you've got to keep your cool and work together and remember that..." He bit his lip a little, shifting awkwardly, "you're all in this together, and no matter what happens, you're a team, you're Chocobros, and you...you can get through anything together, no....no matter what..."

And that...oddly sincere, seemingly deeper-than-he-intended little ramble caused Ignis and Gladio to exchange a brief look, before Gladio's hand fell on Prompto's shoulder with a reassuring pat, and then a ruffle of Prompto's hair; the ensuing protests and defense of said hair were buried under Gladio's loud bellow over the danger shop.

"You heard the guy!" he said. "Let's get this going!"

Have you been in a tense situation with a team before? What caused it? How did you get yourselves out of it? Did you get yourselves out of it?

But, no, your instructors had no intention of speaking to the tension in the room today, thank you. This isn't about them!

And now that that's over, it's time to let chaos reign!

Chocobos will start flooding into the room at an increasing rate; you can decrease the amount of chocobos if you manage to tag the ones that flash very briefly. Tag the wrong ones or don't tag them fast enough, and you'll just get more chocobos! It's an exercise in keeping calm under pressure, although no one will blame you if you just want to give in to your chocobo-crushing fate, either.

At least Prompto now has an excuse to focus on trying to fix his hair again after Gladio messed it up, but this was...not how he was planning for his Friday to go so far!

And at least he had how his Friday was now likely to shape up to look forward to.

If he managed to even survive!

Honestly, the whole kissing thing didn't even bother Gladio nearly as much as the fact that, between the three of them, somehow, they'd all managed to have been defeated by a godsdamn plant!

That was the real insult to injury here.
