Introduction to Engineering - Wednesday, 3rd Period

This week Goose had been able to actually finish his original lesson so it was actually a proper lesson today.

“Welcome back,” he nodded to the class, “this week we’re going to start our environmental engineering module for the next couple of weeks,”

He started with the general overview of what environmental engineering was and made particular key points of the impact that it had in terms of the environment and the importance that it played.

“For this week’s practical I thought we’d try building weather vanes and then we can take them outside to give them a test run,”

Jo wasn't sure she followed a lot of the lecture on environmental engineering, a lot of it was going over her head but she did try to follow along as best she could.

Jo's attempt to make a weather vane was rather basic as she tried to attach the pieces together as she tried to follow the instructions.

Since Jo's was rather basic in design, hers fell apart not long after she set it up to test it out.

Alara was attempting to be a bit more creative with hers and use cardboard but as a result she was finding it difficult to put it together and she kept breaking the cardboard as a result.

Alara eventually got hers built and she set it up to test it and it actually worked for a while before the wind eventually broke it.
