For the final session, the cupcake class was unsurprisingly being held in the Home Ec room, just like always.

“It’s our last class,” Stark said. “The end of the summer. I hope you’ve enjoyed this.” If you hadn’t enjoyed cupcakes? Don’t tell Stark. He was about to have a very emotional weekend and didn’t need additional stress at this time.

“I have new recipes this week. I haven’t tried them yet. Found them a while ago, but I was waiting for a good time. We’re at the end so now seems a good time. At least one of you should enjoy these.”

Stark reached into the box in front of him then and pulled out several boxes of...Jello. Hope you’re here today, Summer!

“I found jello cupcake recipes,” he said, holding up a box. “They seemed worth trying, I thought.”

Tie-dye Fruity Cupcakes
Patriotic Jello Poke Cupcakes

“Some of the recipes call for vodka, for the jello. It’s...early for that,” Stark said. “And one of you I probably shouldn’t give alcohol to.” Sorry, Malia. “You can always add the jello on top later.” On your own time, when no aliens might be liable for what happened as a result. "Some of them call for boxed cake mix as well. I have some. Nothing wrong with a box. Saves time."

"I'm here if anyone needs help. Or wants help." He'd be making some of the grape cupcakes, for the purple of it all. For some reason.

Like it's the end of the summer

Make some jello (you'll have to spike it with your own vodka, sorry), bake some cupcakes, eat some frosting instead of doing anything else...

That's what he's here for!

I found the jello cupcake recipes months ago and have just been WAITING for a good opportunity to use them.

Summer Smith

Summer was there today! And anyone who hadn't noticed that yet would definitely know it by the excited little eeeee! that escaped her upon the reveal of the featured ingredient.

Best. Final class. Ever.

(Well, for this summer, anyway).

Obviously she was going for the strawberry lemon ones And she had to do a batch of the patriotic ones to possible leave for Steeeeeve when she saw that recipe name, too.

"You did jello!"

Of course Summer had to let Stark know just how much she appreciated the appreciation for her weird hyperfixated obsession with a single particular ingredient that, really, people, you were doing absolutely nothing about but encouraging...

"I did!" Stark grinned. "I thought you might like that. And they sounded interesting."

Dwight Hendrickson

Dwight gave Summer a knowing smirk when he heard what the theme was for today.

"Seems like class was designed specifically for you today!"

"I knooooow," Summer gushed, clearly delighted, "riiiight? This is excellent. So much of my jello work is focused on shots now that getting to do something different....for class is, like..."

She smacked her lips and flicked her fingers in a pantomime of a chef's kiss.

"Real fucking primo. A+, Stark." Because that was how it worked, right students grading the teachers? "No. A-fucking-plus-plus!"

She really couldn't have asked for a better distraction from the fact that her dead grandfather was most definitely showing up at some point this weekend!

"I looooove that," Summer assured him, with extra emphasis and not even an ounce of hyperbole. "I seriously could not have asked for a better last class," especially with all the bullshit about to go down this weekend, "you are seriously the best."

"Good, good, good. I'm glad. I found them when I was looking for recipes and thought of you. Of course." Who else immediately came to mind when Jello was involved? Nobody.

It had better not be anybody else! Ohmygod, she would seriously just die!

"Of course," Summer agreed, with a little spark of ego that she was just going to bask in utterly. "They're perfect. And I have to admit I really enjoy the chance to get away from the jello shots and into something else with jello for a change, too!"

Summer would always be the first person who came to mind when jello was involved! Always!

"The jello shots are good. Mostly." There were some obvious exceptions. "But a change is good, sometimes. I found some cookie recipes as well, with jello in them."

"You know," Summer realized, "I've definitely done jello with cakes and stuff before, but never cookies, really. Or not nearly as much, anyway. Obviously, you need to send me those recipes now."

And she could add booze!

And maybe other things that might make Stark cry!
