"Welcome back," Ignis greeted the class, "and welcome to our final class. Now, over the course of the week, you should have hopefully received one of my shamelessly handwavey communications regarding our last lesson, which means you should have brought your own recipe to prepare and present to the class via your photography skills. I'm looking forward to seeing what you're intending to bring to the table," why, yes, pun intended, thank you for noticing!, "and, most of all, how you're presenting it. So, unless there are any questions, let us get right into it. Please don't hesitate to ask one of us for help should you need it and you'll have until handwavey time to finish your dishes.

"Happy cooking," he concluded with a small smile.

"And shooting!" Prompto added in, almost as if to remind everyone that he really did have a part in this class, too, although, yeah, you really wouldn't know it through most of the instruction, but that was fine!

It's students' choice today! Hopefully, if you needed any ingredients out of the ordinary, you mentioned it to Ignis so he could make sure it was available, but the patries are well stocked and ready for whatever you've felt needed to be brought into the world of food photography for the final time that summer.

How's your plating? How's your lighting? Is it Instagram worthy or does the image quality look as deep fried as an onion ring?

Either way, it's taking pictures of food, it's not that serious, no matter what people on the internet might seem to think sometimes.

Who weren't just supervising and keeping eye on things so no one burned down the home ec room or anything, they had dishes to make themselves to share, too!

Prompto went for simplicity and style and maybe a little ridiculousness with a towering stacked ham sandwich.

Which he did intend to scarf down and he did expect Ignis to give him crap for it, but whatever! That's why he was totally going to squeeze in an extra run around the island later, bro!

And Ignis, for his final recipe, decided to go with one he cooked often but also, he felt, had a lot of potential for being photographic, and that was a nice fisherman's paella.

And, yes, he had the utmost confidence in his ability to prepare a dish like that and monitor the class simultaneously.
