"Wine" Tasting and Drinking Games

Did Jessica completely forget about class today? Certainly not because there was a bottle of wine sitting on the bar when people came into Caritas and she was pouring everyone a glass.

"Tonight's selection is Night Train. It's a fruit wine that tastes..."

Hmm. Walked into that one. Jessica frowned and sipped at it.

"Like someone added corn syrup to Nyquil," she finished. "Please partake and decide for yourself."

"As for tonight's game we shall play two truths and a lie. You tell two truths about yourself and one lie. Those who choose the lie have to drink. Shall we?"

"Uhhhh, let's see." Duke counted on his fingers. "My hometown's biggest rivalry is between two little league teams, I once got arrested at a drag show in Prague, and when people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I told them I was going to join the foreign legion."

Shunsui took a moment to pour a little of the Night Train into one of his cups, took a tentative sip, immediately gave Jessica a withering sort of look, and then promptly added his sake.

And the wondered if he should be mildly concerned that it actually wasn't all that terrible once the sake was added, in his opinion.

Silver usually wasn't too picky about what he drank, but this stuff was truly awful. The color should have been a good indicator, it was an unnatural shade of red for a wine.

Hey. Some people wanted to make it easy just so everyone could drink; others made it easy because she had no interest in having anyone speculating on who she was beyond the surface level.

She was a little tempted to see what would happen if she threw 'Rosa.Diaz is my real name's in there somewhere, though.

Seivarden just looked into the glass, sniffed whatever excuse for a wine this was, and decided against it.

She considered if she should suggest to Summer to make terrible jello shots out of Jessica's terrible so-called wines.

Amaya wasn't too keen about people knowing much about her, either, but she also wasn't going to go all Rosa about it, either. She gave it some.careful thought before nodding confidently with her offerings.

"I took up my first blacksmithing apprenticeship when I was seventeen," she started, "I've read the entire Chronicles of Bodrik the Bold cover to cover a total of five times, and my favorite flower is a petunia."

She would never claim to be a good bartender. And she did actually know how to make pizza, thanks to Ignis.
