"Hey, everyone!" Prompto was sitting on the desk up front with his legs danging and kicking slightly, but the grin on his face made it clear that he had much more confidence in this whole teaching thing this week than he had last week. Because last week had actually gone....really well, he thought? And it made him think that actually maybe he wasn't so bad at this after all, but, hey! Second class! So we'll see. "Good to see you again, I hope you've all had an awesome week so far and that you're ready to really get comfortable with your cameras and taking some shots because we're going to be doing that a lot today. I have something really fun set up for us in that regard, but first!"

He flashed them a smile, giving off a little chuckle.

"You had homework, right? I think it was three shots, of some of your favorite places around the island. So let's hook up the cards on the camera and you can show everyone your three best shots, talk about them a little, and we'll sort of break down a little about what works and what doesn't, because today's lesson is going to be nature photography. We'll talk about it a little bit, and then we're going to go ahead and practice some of the things we've learned out in the wild, so to speak! So, any volunteers to go first? I've got some, too," he added, "if you need me to break the ice."

Nature shot!

What did you take your pictures of? Want to share anything about those locations? And, probably most important, from Prompto's perspective....how did they turn out?

"You guys did a great job," said Prompto, who definitely planned on saying that even if they hadn't, "those were some nice shots, but there's always room for improvement, right? And with photography, a lot of practice is going to make perfect. So today I kinda wanted to go over a little bit about what makes for a good nature shot, which are also some tips that can be used for other kinds of shots, too, I feel nature's a good focus, and...anyway! Let's talk a little bit about some tips to improve your shots when you're out in nature, and then we're going to have a chance to put them into action! Now some of this might get a little technical, regarding different lenses and formats, so if you need me to go over anything a little extra, just let me know. Or we can just wait until we get out on the field and you can ask questions as we go along.

"So! Anyway! First off, we're gonna talk lenses..."

And with that, he went into it, and hopefully managed to get out of it before the entire class's collective attention had just...wandered off.

"Okay," Prompto chuckled a little as he hopped off the desk, "enough of that! Let's go take some pictures! I've got something all set up for us in the Danger Shop that should be a lot of fun, it's based on this video game I heard of, so let's take a little field trip and then the real adventure starts!"

And once they got there, Prompto explained in a little more detail. "You see, this set-up is pretty simple: we've got ourselves a nature park with some nice vistas and some interesting critters all around that we can take pictures of! To make it easier, there's this car...wagon...pod thing that'll make its way through the park so that you can focus on your pictures, we'll see what you get, talk about them a little bit, and then if we've got time, you can run the course again and try to take more! Simple as that! And, hey, if you want to just kick back and enjoy the sights and the cute animals, you can do that, too, but I want at least one picture to work off of, I don't think that's too much to ask, right? Anyway, everyone find a pod, and let's get snapping!"

Is he stupid proud of himself for merging his two great loves, photography and video games into one? Yes, yes he is.

Does he feel like a total dork that he just made his class into an IRL video game? Yup!

Does he have any regrets? Not a one!

LOOK. You expect the New Pokemon Snap to be released right when Prompto starts up a photography class and it's not supposed to be a sign????

Also, I have been playing a lot of New Pokemon Snap, you guys, send help.
