And so the journey continued! This time, the class was making their way up into the trecherous, "snowy mountains bordering Serenia, or at least Amaya's best estimation of it, where the views are spectacular but the path is dangerous. Bundled up and ready to trek through the snow, she gave the class careful warnings while cryptically mentioning that some travelers have encountered trouble in this mountains that had nothing to do with the freezing temperatures or the slippery slopes.

And, wouldn't you know it? There was that exact trouble now, emerging from a cavern in the form of a large and terrible yeti!

Luckily, there was another cavern close by that the students could duck into to put together a game plan and, of course, find a bunch of random stuff that might help.

"I think by now," Amaya told them with a grin, and a nod, "you know what to do. A single enemy, though, by the looks of it, so I think a group effort or a multiple-point of attack might be best! We're a little low on the usual resources out here in the snowy mountains, but let's see what we can find and what we can put together so that we may continue our quest."

Ready for the cold!

Well, it's more of a little local flavor of the area you're traipsing through than anything else, until the inevitable moment of the monster reveal, but they're very exciting mountains if you want to enjoy the view or maybe sneak throwing a snowball at your friend's back...

Once the yeti emerges, it's into the cave to figure out a game plan to work your way past him! And, of course, with that comes a searching of the cave for material, which turns up the following:

Lana: a stuffed whale toy, a mirror, a stack of Post-Its
Freya: another mirror, a thick bracelet, a packet of seeds
Julius: a pair of Wrangler blue jeans, a round Christmas ornament, a copy of James Joyce's Ulysses
Juillenne: a remote control, a can of soda pop, a ring of keys
Shuri: an egg beater, a no longer functioning laptop computer, an egg
Sabine: a bottle of water, a toothbrush, a sketchpad
Grog: a Bayside High class ring, a bag of carrots, a plastic toy cat

How did any of those items find their way into this random cave in the middle of nowhere? Who knows! One might just as well ask why there seemed to be a surprising abundance of custard cream pies in the cavern, as well.

Because there are.

So many custard cream pies...

Give your weapons a go on the fierce creature and see if you can't defeat him so that the class could continue on their way in this journey to...somewhere.

She's never personally managed to encounter a Serenian yeti before, but she's heard plenty of tales, and so this should be interesting...

SPOILER ALERT:

Yes, it is actually canon that the only way to defeat the yeti is by throwing a pie at him.

If you eat the pie or give it to someone else earlier in the game, you're screwed.
