Wednesday Afternoon Assembly, Wednesday, November 4, 2020
Today's assembly was taking place in the Danger Room, which should've been the first clue something was going to get weird.
The snow was the second.
Anakin had put the stage in, though, so he had a place to stand and yell at them.
"Today's assembly is being run by our very own principal, Zoe Winchester!" he said. "And her topic is whatever she wants it to be because she is my boss and I wish for her to be happy. Take it away, Zoe!"

Re: Take it away, Zoe!
"Hello everyone. Like many of your teachers, I'm a big proponent of being prepared for the future. For those of you who haven't been here for winter before, it's a lot like this - it can get quite cold, we get a fair amount of snowfall, and it would be unkind to not warn you that things can get a little strange in a similar fashion to what we experienced for the last few weeks." Festivities weren't a bad thing, it was just nicer when they weren't a total surprise. "So, I wanted to give you all an opportunity to prepare for what might be coming."
Zoe's first stop was at a mound of snow, and she grabbed some, packing it together into a snowball. "One of the best parts of fresh snow is that it can be both offensive and defensive." She threw the snowball at Anakin, knowing full well he'd avoid it if he wanted to. "Offensively, snowball fights are a great way to simulate a fight without anyone actually getting hurt, and it's honestly just fun. Defensively, snowball forts make for good protection during one of these fights, and allow you a safe position from which to stockpile your weapons."
Next, she motioned to a pile of blankets and huge comfortable-looking pillows. "Of course, not everyone wants to be out in the cold, so it's important to know how to construct a proper blanket fort. Setting up a good base of pillows combined with optimal blanket placement is vital, and the only way to learn is to experiment."
Finally, there was a kitchen area with a sink and countertop. On the counter were jars of tiny marshmallows, cans of whipped cream, spices, and other things that would go into hot chocolate. Zoe turned the faucet on, and hot cocoa began pouring out into the sink. "At some point during the winter, it's entirely possible we'll get cocoa instead of water, which isn't great for taking a shower, but is quite nice to drink. Here, you can figure out your ideal cup of cocoa--more sweet, maybe a little spicy. It's all up to you."

He hadn't tried hot chocolate before, but with one sip, he knew it needed more spice. No, a little more than that. Maybe just a bit more...
If you like spicy cocoa, he's happy to share!
